I'm not familiar with Animal Crossing but is the Villager supposed to be constantly looking to his left?

nope he is suppose to have that weird effect that when you pause the game and rotate the camera, his eyes actually follow you |

Hey KTH, just want to say that his ears are...kind of iffy. I think they're too high; they should be at the center of his head.

working on V2 of my super sonic from sonic generations has spec maps ,shine,and face expressions. just need to fix the eyes. |

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

Looking at the reference... The hair needs to come down more. Also, the eyes don't look equal like in your reference. |

Not only that, but I guess the ears were too small. Again, might be angle of the camera, but looking at them next to the reference, they REALLY look small.

i'll throw in my 2 cents as well then about your Villager, KTH. the hair is quite too high, way too much forehead showing. and the nose could probably be flattened a bit. guess i should have made mine a bit more like the Smash 4 incarnation rather than off the City Folk model, would have apparently saved some trouble...

it depends on the face you get at the beginning of the game. some always look left, some always look right, and a few are actually centered. it just happened to be that the choice for the Villager was this one. |

Also, the hair needs a shadow texture (at least texture it on the face). It seems so... flat.

But seriously, shut it with your "we have enough Villagers" crap. Yeah, there are 2 on the vault now. But they have a lot of room for improvement. Just look at KTH's last in-game preview. It looks much better than Snoopy's (no offence to Snoopy). And how the hell is the actual Villager model going to get in-game, if Smash 4 isn't even released yet? GBC's Megaman has been updated multiple times already. Yeah, he didn't add more submissions, and other people didn't do it, but its pretty much the same thing. So either get out, or stop complaining |
