My opinions:
Arms are too short
Shoulders are too high
Armpit area is too wide
Feet need to be bigger

*Masked Man

Shut up, you could totally hold it with a gun arm.

And don't worry, there will probably be a version with the sword, too.

Haha, glad I made your day, mate.

Anyway, about this Jack model:

The hair and face need work the most, I think. How many verts does the hair have? Surely there's a better way to shape it? As for the face, it looks like vertices are stretched a bit. Some cleaning up here and there should be fine. I suggest you use Jak's concept art for reference.

Good luck!

so wait....masked man is gonna use some needle as the bat rather than his actual beam sword?

GBC.. is just about one of the most creative people I know xD

It's not just some needle, man. It's one of the seven needles of light. They're huge plot points in MOTHER 3- Here, read up:

"They are the only things keeping the Dark Dragon under the Nowhere Islands. A needle can only be pulled by someone who can use PK Love, and the person who pulls the majority of the needles has their heart's ideals transferred to the Dark Dragon. If someone with an evil heart pulls them all, or at least the last one, then the Dark Dragon will respond to evil wishes. However, if someone with a good heart pulls all or at least the last one, then the Dark Dragon will respond to the good wishes within the puller's heart. If the puller does not appear to have a heart, which is what concerns the Magypsies about the Masked Man, then the world would simply cease to exist."
Lucas and the Masked Man have a bit of a race for the needles. The Masked Man pulled some of them, which is why I gave him the needle in the model.

If you ask me, that's way cooler than just some sword.

Still, if you really want the sword, I could make an alternate version or something. It might be friendlier to PSAs.

About the whole needle-in-the-arm thing, why not make it so that it's a bit more... realistic? Like, rather than having it shoved through the canon, make an add-on that makes it seem as though it's actually attached to it...? Dunno if that makes sense or not.

Also, is it me or is it facing the wrong way? I thought the bat-equivalent is supposed to be pointing forward when in T-stance.

Awesome, I wish I could finish that game 100%, but the horse riding just took too damn long, but I did love the story.

@Vile
Interesting concept, but I wouldn't want the gun to be too clunky with an add-on. Maybe the periphiral would be attached to the needle model instead? Also, keep in mind Ness holds the bat with two hands... I'd have to build it around that.
Maybe I could flip the gun to the other hand? I would, but I want to keep accuracy to the sprite.

Well, to be honest, I'm not too concerned with something you only see during a side smash. It makes just as much sense as how high these guys jump, or how they survive being set on fire or whatever.

@GBC

sure thing! Send me it and I'll see what I think.
[PICTURE REMOVED. Reason: Total signature pic size exceeds 695x200.]

Nah, flipping the model wouldn't be necessary, keeping it accurate is more important than trying to make it make sense.

It isn't terribly important, and I'm fresh out of ideas. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the character to contribute any decent ideas, so I guess I'll be leaving. *flees*
