Ah, what I should have asked is, "is it weird for me to want to go back and redo my older hacks?"

Of course not. By redoing old hacks, you can make them better. Many people have done it.

Yeah, I just had a sudden surge of motivation to do it for some reason.

Good, just needed a bit of verification is all.  But yeah, it is a good way to learn more about rigging in the process. After all these months, it takes me less than a total of six to seven hours to completely rig; granted that's not all once (which would be overkill IMHO). Still, it's not the three-four days it takes me when I first began.  Will post more pics on the next redo.

Edit: So far, so good, getting done a lot faster than I assumed; it's not done, but this is what I got done in about a hour

That would be awesome. I came up with a moveset idea for the battletoads about 2 years ago when I made the Pimple vertex over Donkey Kong. A lot of these might be a little outdated and I could possible come up with better ideas but I think this could be a good place to start. These days, I think a lot of my ideas might actually be possible now thanks to model imports (like limbs turning into weapons and growing ram horns for the running headbutt).

    Battletoads - Zitz/Pimple/Rash

    Stage 1:
    Battletoads NES Part 1 - Level 1

    Pimple BiB (Stage 1):
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs Pimple Walkthrough Part 1

    Rash BiB (Stage 1):
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs SNES No Death Run Part 1 of 3

    Pimple BiB (Stage 2):
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs Pimple Walkthrough Part 2

    Pimple BiB (Stage 3):
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs Pimple Walkthrough Part 4

    BT&DD (Stage 1):
BattleToads & Double Dragon Level 1

    BT&DD (Speedrun):
Battletoads & Double Dragon (SNES) Speed run - 1/2

    Arcade Intro:
    Battletoads / arcade attract mode / 1994

    Zitz Arcade (Stage 3):
Battle Toads (Arcade) - Stage 3 Part 1 (no deaths)

    Special Traits / Other:
Many of the Battletoad’s attacks power up when the opponent is at 100% damage or higher. These powered up attacks also gain graphical effects (like gaining ram horns for the running headbutt). If this is way too much trouble or impossible (which it more than likely is), it’s fine if they just have their regular attacks. Even if just a few of these graphical effects could work it would be awesome.

This is a good Forward Smash for when he is using a Beam Sword: (Arcade Intro—1:15)

    Weak Attacks:
    A Combo — Kiss My Fist (BT&DD Stage 1—0:11)
The Battletoad attacks with two regular punches followed by a big punch where his fist grows. I’m thinking that the first two hits of Snake’s A combo followed by Donkey Kong’s Neutral B punch would look really good.

Forward Tilt — BT Big Hammer (Pimple BiB Stage1 — 0:26)
The Battletoad attacks by swinging both hands left then right. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, the attack will be replaced by a giant hammer.

    Up Tilt
Mario’s Up Tilt is probably good here.

Down Tilt — Ball n’ Chain (Rash BiB Stage 1—0:21)
The Battletoad delivers a leg sweep. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and his foot is replaced by a spiked ball and chain. Samus’ Down Smash animation could work here.

Running A — Charge n’ Barge (Pimple BiB Stage 1—1:27) -> (Pimple BiB Stage 1—1:05)
The Battletoad delivers a running head butt to his opponent. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and the Battletoad has ram horns appear on his head.

    Smash Attacks:
Forward Smash — Big Bad Boot (Pimple BiB Stage 1—1:25) -> (Pimple BiB Stage 1—0:43)
The Battletoad punts his opponent. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and the Battletoad’s foot turns into a big boot and he jumps in the air a bit.

Up Smash — Stone Fist (Pimple BiB Stage 2—0:08)
The Battletoad delivers a fierce uppercut. Normally, his hand just grows bigger (like many of Mario’s attacks), but if the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and his fist turns to stone.

    Down Smash (BT&DD Speedrun—2:16)
The Battletoad clasps his hands together (like Donkey Kong’s Aerial Forward A) and smashes his opponent into the ground (like Donkey Kong’s Forward B).

    Specials:
    Neutral B — Frog Tongue (Stage 1—1:10)
The Battletoad sticks his tongue out like Yoshi and swallows his opponent. Instead of turning them into an egg, he just spits them out (pretty much Yoshi’s Grab and Forward Throw). This attack does about half the damage Yoshi's throw does, but gains a bit of health when used.

    Forward B — Speeder Bike (BT&DD Speedrun—4:25)
This could work exactly like Wario’s motorcycle, except they would be using their speeder bikes from the Turbo Tunnel stages.

Up B — Hovercraft (Pimple BiB Stage 2)
This can use the stage entry platform characters appear on after they die. It could work somewhat like Rob's up B except it could allow you to kick the platform away (either downward, backward, or forward) by pressing that direction and A while on the platform.

    Down B — Drilla Killa (Arcade Intro—0:45)
The Battletoad launches forward with an drill, using animation like Metaknight’s Forward B. When using it in the air, it would travel diagonally downwards like Falcon Kick.

    Grabs:
    Grab
Like Snake, the Battletoad grabs his opponent from behind, but grabs their head instead of chokes them.

    Pummel
The Battletoad kicks his opponent’s butt (literally).

    Forward Throw
Donkey Kong’s Forward Throw could be cool here since the Battletoads can walk around when they are carrying someone in their games.

    Back Throw (BT&DD Stage 1—0:52)
The Battletoad grabs the back of his opponent’s head and smashes them back and forth into the ground.

    Up Throw
Donkey Kong’s Up Throw probably works here too.

    Down Throw (Arcade Intro—3:10)
Donkey Kong’s Down Throw is great here. It would be cool if he could jump into the air a bit before throwing his opponent to the ground.

    Aerial Attacks:
Neutral A (Pimple BiB Stage 1—0:49)
The Battletoad attacks with his arms outstretched and hitting enemies on both sides.

Forward A — Anvil Swipe (Pimple BiB Stage 1—0:41) ->(Pimple BiB Stage 1—5:42)
Ganondorf’s Aerial Forward A is perfect here. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and his hand is replaced by an anvil.

Back A — Flying Battleaxe (Rash BiB Stage 1—1:06) -> (Rash BiB Stage 1—0:45)
Fox’s Aerial Back A would work great for this. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, the move becomes stronger and his foot could become an axe.

Up A — Soarin’ Saw Blade
Ganondorf’s Aerial Up A could work here. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, the move becomes stronger and his feet are replaced by a Buzz Saw.

Down A — Wun Tun Stomp (Pimple BiB Stage 2—0:18) and (Arcade Intro—2:15)
Donkey Kong’s Aerial Down A Animation could be good here, but it causes the Battletoad to drop down like Toon Link’s Aerial Down A. If the opponent is at 100% or higher, this attack becomes stronger and the battletoad’s foot is replaced by a huge weight.

    Final Smash (Arcade Intro—1:06)
This could play pretty much exactly like Pikachu’s Final Smash. The Battletoad could turn into a spiked wrecking ball instead of an electric one. Afterwards, all of the Battletoad’s attacks can be their fully powered up versions for a little while.

do some research, just get a peach file, and check which polygon is what weapon, and check their single-bind bones and visibility bones, all you need to know is usually just in the character's data Tongue
