    I've always like the concept of customizing your character in game so i have to say that i support this project 100%. This project is ahead of its time literaly cause apperently, nintendo considered making  a Character Creator  for SSB4 XD . Anyway good luck with this project also will the Base model  of the chacter will include baldness, it would be nice !

    oh and i believe the poly limit is around 20K (that's the limit i would set up) maybe 25K. no more than than in my opinion.

    i make models, (nothing good unless 8 months is put into it) and 26K with 4 of the same model on screen causes slight lag =/

    That reminds me of the descender's outfit from Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology.

    Also, you should use things from Kirby's copy abilities? Some provide hair Like Marth and Ike, but characters like Link/Peach/Mario only give Kirby hats. or extract Marth's Tiara or Ike's Bandana to use as well. So you could use those for your customization. And also articles of swords/bows/weapons as well.

    Just some suggestions.

    Intresting. Can't wait to see this finished.
    Don't know that you could spruce up the face a bit; to make pit look a little less.... gay?
    Since model importion has came out, there has been less vertexes. (Obviously)
    Never once have I used a vertex for pit. Because frequently he will have his pompous lips, and chibi/girl eyes still.

    Sounds cool. shouldn't we have miis? It would be cool to assemble your mii in 3ds max, then take it to brawl. Personally, some miis suit characters like Mario, Luigi, Toon Link, Ness, and Lucas.
