If you don't have it yet, it must be that you've not been using it much. And, in that case, you have not get used to it yet.

With this said, there's a model importer in brawlbox now, so you can vertex hack directly in 3dsmax in most cases. It's true that you would need 3dsmax too, and if you're using blender alone, this option would not be possible for you.

I have the older version, but not the 2.0 one. I suppose you need that one. So, I'm sorry, can't help you ^^U
