samus/pkmn trainer freeze wii when transforming?

i finally turned on the smash ball and when samus is midway through transforming wii freezes
same thing for switching pokemon
i found it odd that the only time samus doesnt freeze wii is when im using the ada costume and a green/black colored samus costume o_O"
so the problem is all the other costumes? o_O"
