I was ready to release the version after Nanobuds fixed it. You're critiquing the version with auto-rigged arms, head and a neck.
Since that version, the model was touched up, sent to Nanobuds, touched up again, and then tested in-game at my friend's house for any ingame errors, and now is in the process of getting extras and a morph ball, and then release.
Did you guys REALLY think I would release her like that? Am I REALLY that bad in general? I'd rather drop the project than not only bring shame upon myself, but my friends Nanobuds and SJS as well by releasing it like that.
Maybe I should just quit hacking. I swear, this community gets even more downright rude and nit-picky everyday.
Excuse me? Nit-picky and rude? Dude. To be bluntly honest with you: it is beyond rare that I ever blow up at a rig for a model import. At all. Most of the time I only see what I see in the screenshots, it's only when I've taken time to get into BB with a model that I ever see what it's true flaws are, and most of the time I never see the rigs in those early stages, and most of them don't look as bad as what I saw, but if a fully rigged model has things like holes when rotated, unnatural stretching, and a whole host of problems, and I'm the one seeing it, they're going to have a Rage Train heading their way.
If you've touched it up and made it better since then, then consider my negative review null and void. I know the damage is done, but it was a mistake, and I'm sorry for that.
I would rather see the finished product than a beta, in other words. So don't quit if the rig is better than it was before. |

And why couldn't he have PMd it to me? Why did you have tohumilate me publicly infront of everyone I work with? Mistake or not, it could've been done privately. And you know that. |

Alright. Everyone. Cool off...
What's done is done. Velen... Next time. While being honest is a good thing sometimes. You should add what IS good about a rig too. I know I have little room to talk. Since I made the error of adding to what you said. But only being harsh, and cussing around makes it sound like the rig has NOTHING right with it. When clearly that wasn't the case. You said yourself there were parts that were fine, and parts that were off.
Boygos. Calm down. I know this was very harsh. But if that was an unfinished product. Then lets see the finished version when it's ready. Take your time with it if needed. There's no need to quit Brawl hacking, just because a person had harsh feedback. That is a sign to see where things might have gone wrong. And correcting them. Part of the reason some people are nitpicky, is because some people don't give any constructive criticism. While Velen's words were harsh... He wanted what was best for this hack.
This was a misunderstanding on his part. And he's very sorry about this.
Now then. I wish you, and Nano the best of luck with finishing this rig.

Alright, we're done here. I don't want to hear a word about what Velen said from anyone.
As a future note to everyone in who wants to give me a harsh review, please send it to me in a PM. I'm fine with harsh feedback, but in the case that you want to post it in my THREAD, that's entirely uncalled for and inappropriate. Please just PM it to me, and I'm much more likely to be calm and nicer about the whole thing.
I'm completely fine with constructive criticism if it's on a preview of a hack that's TO DATE, orr on a finsihed mode that needs fixing. But again, please try to stay relevant to the current topic at hand.
The current topic is now again Pokemon, Riolu, that flame monkey thing, Dusknoir, Desmond, etc...

I make YouTube videos, SM64 hacks, Brawl Hacks (obviously), NSMBW hacks, and GoldenEye 007 Mods. I also have a short attention span and tend to switch around a lot and put things on hold. But when I do finish things, 95% of the time I gave 120% effort, the other 5% of the time I give 100% effort.

I only saw the poll, so how I didn't know that. But that doesn't change the fact that people would want it. TheBen is making a Mulan. So someone should make a Shang.
