Has anyone gotten the Editing SSS thing working?

The Editing SSS thing found here.
Does anyone have this already done in ether a common5.pac or a sc_selmap.pac?

I'm trying to get the SSS shown as the pic in the download, where it has no preview background of the stages, only the icons, selmark, and name of the stages.

I can't get this to work for me. Any help I appreciate it. Thanks!

I pm'ed him and I got ignored. I went over the tutorial a lot of times now and I still can't get this to work for me. It freezes now or gives me a screen just like this,

Yes, I have tried this ingame.

I tired increasing to 40 like the tutorial says and it freezes ingame. I am using the SSS expansion.

I'm starting to lose my patience with this, I'm not gonna use this if I can't get it to work in the next few days.
