Need help after modding brawl!!

Alright so I followed this guide to get a custom CSS and SSS

after I got custom CSS and SSS, I started downloading custom character skins for each character

I only made sure that the skins have only the .Pac and the .Pcs files (Not the MotionData Files at all)

Does that mean my SSBB is just like the regular SSBB but with custom skins, CSS, and SSS?

How do i make sure that my brawl isnt changed with like some characters nerfed, or the gravity is changed or anything like that? Only just the CSS, SSS and custom skins?

The download only includes the CSS and the SSS, it doesn't change the moves, models or textures of characters.
