Hey guys, I literally started hacking a couple of hours ago and im stuck with some problems. I cannot seem to get a single texture or vertex hack on a single character. I have the latest gecko with is 1.9.3.1 I believe and I am softmodded. For an hour ive tried different texture hacks but they don't seem to work,
this is how my sd card is set up: private>wii>app>RSBE>pf>fighter>(character name)( etc marth)> FitMarth00.pac
I also have the codes folder which I know is correct because I was able to separate pokemon trainor, samus, and shiek.
I think im doing something wrong with the textures themselves? I have to Roy texture that I want to put on, what am I supposed to do ( I am a beginner), and is brawl box required when your only downloading textures (I have no intention on making textures)

I read through guide but im still confused, I know some of the codes work since I was able to separate pokemon trainer etc, would being on system version 4.3 have anything to do with it, and do I need a common5.pac file?

you dont need a common 5.pac unless you want a CSS or SSS

I think there is a problem with the codes, because im pretty sure i set up the sd card right and after trying 8 different RSBE01.gct one of them was able to seperate my characters. Can someone tell me or give me an up-to-date code that will allow me to change the textures of characters. I know the file patch code but i think i did that wrong because it never seems to work

Wait a minute are you using a PAC file? Because if you are it doesn't work in brawl mode. You need a PCS file.

Are you using the right codes for your region?
Aka PAL for europe, US for USA, etc.

I'm actually not sure if i have the right codes, i know i need the file patch codes but i dont know which ones US and if i need other codes with it? and does being on 4.3U have anything to do with this

1) Something is up with the codes
2) I'm cleary missing something important
3) Me being on 4.3U

Put the hacks of characters in their respective folder.
Boot the game using Gecko. |
