Like the elitists would let you play with anything that isn't the damn GC controller.

Turn on the handicap option and you should see a buffer window next to your character, select 100 (it doesn't change the handicap) and everything should feel just fine again. LC_DDM stop spreading bull[censored].

Loving these baseless, hollow, asinine accusations. They really do you great justice in whatever dumb point you're trying to get across.

Alright, then, explain WHY you get the "failure" sound effect when playing with the Wiimote or Wiichuck. Isn't that pretty much saying "you're not allowed to play with the controller type you like"?

That is called a joke. Even my friend who barely plays Smash anymore and played with a Wiimote and Nunchuk combination didn't feel anal about it. Infact, we were sitting there laughing about it. How you could have possibly drawn that conclusion is beyond me.

Have to say, the failure bit is unprofessional, where as the rest of the project feels pretty professional. I use the classic, which only has minor differences to the gc.

Yeah. I agree here. It seems... Really out of place, in something trying it's hardest to be "what Brawl should have been". And is trying to pose as a "real" game...
Sakurai prefers the GC controller, but he doesn't make fun of those who use the other controllers.
And I doubt any "real" game would do this either. Just comes off as mean spirited. :/

It's great, despite a few problems (like the Timer, for example). I can't wait to see how Samus, the ICs, and Kirby will play out.
