Does anybody know how to view/ edit these? Do you have to do it with a hex editer? Can you do it in GIMP? Is there a file converter for mdl0 files?

Insert them into their file in Brawl Box.

See that file I circled? Instead of replacing it as the picture says, right click it, and then select preview.
