i forgot about this place wow im so old now wtf

    Okay, so i was doing a re-up of mine and data_drain_'s Shadow Queen: Peach form, but after i vertex'd her, she showed up like this in-game  Im srs here
    Some sort of black thing hanging off of her hair?
    Completely white eyes
    Holding her tennis racket, golf club, and frying pan.


    Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this?

    I have had this problem as well. Try replacing the textures again, and do it on recommend on Brawlbox

    for the first pic, it's most likely a remnant from the old days of DasDonkeyBox vertexing, which an easy way to get rid of stuff was shrink then texture it out.  the reason it's black is most likely because the Transparency was reset from importing it back into BrawlBox.

    for the second pic, it's because you probably didn't fix the Eye Materials.  exporting from Max and re-importing to BrawlBox causes any mulit-reference Material to lose all but one of them, which the eyes usually have more than one reference.

    for the third pic, you also need to reset the Visibility Bone for the objects.  again, BrawlBox auto sets them all to the TopN bone, thus why they always appear.

    basically, fix Transparency for the hair, Materials for the eyes, and the Visibility Bones for the weapons.

    Okay, fixed the hair & the eyes, but how to i do the visibilty of the bones for the weapons?

    I dont know how to do any of that. lol.

    for transparency.  you need a shader that supports transparency too, but Peach already has a few, but Shader4 to be exact.  then make the Material look like this at the top, making sure that it's linked to Shader4 as well.




    for the eye Material, just export the ones from a clean FitPeach00 file and replace them into your new one.  you'll need to make sure the names also match the original, since when you import a Material, the names will match the Material itself, and not what they should be. 


    for Visibility bones, they're under the Objects tab.  set them to what they originally were, so like ClubM for the golf club objects.

    well, if all the textures are in the .pac/.pcs file you're working with, they should show up after you've correctly fixed the Material, saved it, and reloaded the file.  some things only display once the file is closed and reloaded.

    I went ahead and did some fixing.

    I managed to fix everything. But the Eyes still have some problems.

    Normal Eye.

    Final Smash Eye.

    Do you know what might be causing this, Snoopy?

    Also the cause...
    -possibly bad texture naming on the materials. like eyelid is wrong and eyeLid works.
    -wrong format. (CMRP RGBA3 RGB565 CI8) and so.
    -wrong material place in object(polygons folder): yep you can choose which material the selected polygon has.
    -needs more things in material: a material of an eye has like 3-4 textures that makes it look like an eye. if has only one...looks like a preview in BB V63 lol

    The naming is correct, I checked.

    yeah, that seems a bit odd.  send me the file so i can look at it, i'm not too sure why it'd be doing that, especially if you've already re-matched everything to the original Peach file.
