V8.0 changes

- mainly trajectory and knockback changes
- new air attack BAB-Air (Back A and B in the air)
- up throw can kill
- melee and brawl air dodge hybrid. Neutral air dodge is brawls air dodge. directional inputs and air dodge is the melee air dodge. now she can wave dash
- she is the same weight as fox
- she can jump off walls now (like zero).
- edited final smash (easier to hit)
- two new taunts ( taunt up, down, up or taunt down, up, down quickly. It's like ZSS's and snake's secret taunts)
- removed umbrella from her entry
- two new wait animations
- new win taunts
- side b start up time is longer
- d-air can be used after side b
- end lag on some moves have been increased
- made team color textures for all athenas and made a 7th athena texture with team colors

Athena's Attacks and Attributes Description

Attributes
Athena is made for horizontal combat. You will constanly chase oppnent across the screen with her teleporting psycho powers Her verticle recovery is a little smaller but she has an amazing  horizontal recovery.
Athena is a tricky fighter with a lot of tricks and combos to master. And she doesn't look half bad either

-I made it so she CAN NOT float any more
-Runs about as fast as Falco
-Jump about as high as Picachu
-Fall speed is a little faster
-increased horizontal momentum
-she can jump off walls
-she can wave dash like in melee

Attacks

AA Attack
Palm thrust to a kick. Just doing a Palm thrust can set opponent up for combos.


Dash Attack
Two hit attack thats great for launching opponent upwards

A Up Tilt
A speedy attack that hits above and on the sides


A Side Up Tilt
A strong palm thrust that puts some distance between you and your opponent

A Side Tilt
A round house that sets opponent up for combos. The sweatspot can kill.


A Side Down Tilt
A Side kick that sends opponent 180 degrees in front of you and can put the opponent on their back

A Down Tilt
A semi delayed low kick. If you tap and release "A" quickly athena will slide forward a little with the attack


Up Smash
Shining Crystal Bit-Charging the smash will make a small attack barrier around athena.

Shining Crystal Bit Shot-stop charging and athena will shoot a slow but damaging crystal bit(star)
If you hold shield before you shoot you can cancel the shot.


Side Smash Up Tilt
Psycho Ball- shoots a psycho ball(star)
Psycho Ball and Teleport-Release A to shoot the Psycho ball while shooting you can Hold Sheild to teleport a short distance. Hold A to teleport Mid distance or hold  B to go long Distance.


Side Smash
Psycho Strike- do a moderatley deadly physical and psycho powered strike


Side Smash Down Tilt
Kung Fu Strike- do a weak physical strike that has good range

Down Smash
Phoenix Flip- do a front flip that spikes on the last hit box.


N-Air
this kick is very versitle in KO-ing and seting combos. Fast start up speed.


NAB-Air(A+B in air)
Fire Sword- athena swings her flaming sword. This won't kill the enemy but it can set up combos.

U-Air
kick upward great ko-ing and damaging move


UAB-Air(Up A+B in air)
Pukapuka Hovering to unicorn horn/typhoon sing- Athena hovers and taunts the opponent then glides downward for a combo setting attack.

F-Air
same animation(no crown) diffrent damage. long cool down after attack.


FAB-Air(Forward A+B in air)
Morning Star Attack- Athena spikes her opponent down to their demise.

B-Air
fast attack that can spike on the bottom part of her bottom.


BAB-Air(Back A+B in air)
Athena flails her legs and arms for three hits.

D-Air
Phoenix Arrow-plumit down at an angle damaging any one in your way. hold the D-pad the opposite direction you are attacking and you can curve the attack trajectory. Doing this does more damge. If you hit the ground with this move you will do a finishing kick that sets up combos.



Neutral Special
Psycho Reflector-Make an attacking barrier that attacks MOSTLY in front of you. Somtimes it reflects but most of the time it doesn't.


Up Special
Psycho Sword- Great combo finisher can KO at high damage. This move covers more horizontal distance than verticle distance.


Side Special
Teleport- You can teleport 3 distances. SideB then Sheild=short distance, Hold SideB=mid distance, SideB then hold A=long distance.This can be done in the air. When in the air holding left or right will help adjust the distance you travel.

Down Special
Critical Combo- do three kicks. the last hit sends opponent at a 350 degree angle.


Final Smash
Psycho 9 and Fire Sword- freeze every one on the field and attack anyone right in
front of you. The fire sword at the end can ko


Up Throw
Psycho Throw- Use your psychic powers to throw opponent upward

Forward Throw
Kung Fu Strike- do a weak physical attack that sends opponent forward

Down Throw
Air Crystal Bit Shot- shoot a crystal bit at the opponent from the air

Back Throw
Kung Fu Toss- throw opponent on the ground directly behinde you.

Up Taunt
Athena Celebration- happily jump up and down in victory

Side Taunt
Gomenasai- Bow your head

Down Taunt
Missed Psycho 9- dash forward and trip. Hold B during the dash then you can attack.

Down, Up, Down Taunt
Pop Idol- Athena dances for her fans

Up, Down, Up Taunt
Athena's salute- Athena's signiture  peace sign salute.

Glitches

If you press down on the D-pad while your pressing the jump button you'll cancel your upward momentum just like regular peach but you won't float you'll just fall but you can still do all your moves.

If you hold the jump button on your second air jump you'll cancel the animation.(not too bad a glitch)

Doing an air attack then holding up on the D-Pad makes her pause mid air for like half a millisecond but its not too noticeable while your fighting.

when you do down B her hand position changes to be as if she was holding a turnip so i changed that turnip holding animation to a peace sign. the peace sign stays on her while shes fighting. to make the peace sign change back just pick up an item or use her "psycho ball" attack. the good thing about this is the pictures you take will be a little diffrent when she has the glitched peace sign up.

I based this texture off of a Mugen version of Athena. In mugen she was called sexy Athena. I don't know if that model came from an actual KOF game.

Does any one know how to make peach have a "Down B" in the air. I tried and i can't figure out why its not working. Here is what i tried



When i use "Down B" on the ground the code works and goes to sub action 58. but when i'm in the air she doen't do anything just like her normal "Down B".
