I don't really make CSP's or anything, but that first Pikachu definitly looks great. I'd totally use that. But as Taiko mentioned, that lightning ruins it.

Sorry for bombarding your thread with my previews, Taiko  :-X. Thanks to both of you, it took quite a while to do that Pikachu.

I don't really like the lighting, it's too sharp and the way it has a light side and dark side makes it very awkward. The light should be coming from in front of his face, slightly to one side, rather than all the way to one side or directly in the middle.

Are these for CSPs? If they are, I'd recommend rotating their bodies to be facing the camera rather than away.

Not quite, I'm thinking of making this a CSP.

It looks good, but since it needs to be cropped you'd lose some parts of his pose. My suggestion would be to rotate the whole pose so his arm goes towards the camera, then rotate his head to face the camera as well. Also, you might want to move the light so that it's a bit closer to the middle of his head too. Which version of BrawlBox are these in?

Then that's fine, though you might want to move the lighting so it's less harsh.

Since I made the CSPs for Smash 3 Ness, I thought I may as well go ahead and do a few more textures since I haven't posted anything new in a while. I have terrible timing though, since SJS just released his.

And Smash 3 Ness:

Thanks and whoa! That looks great! My favorite Smash 3 CSP so far.

Very nice! Are you taking texture requests for Ness right now?

Yup, I'll take requests for this one. It's the trophy pose though, so no models yet.

The Smash 3 CSPs look a lot similar to the Smash 4 Renders. Nice Job!

Cool! I just so happen to have a few textures in need of CSPs: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39279739/ness.zip

Opinions?
Getting there, but the lighting seems very basic. The lighting on his face is good, then gets sorta lost on his body. I would put more highlights on the middle of the shirt, and on the front of the shorts, rather than on the back like they are now. I would also blur them more, so they're less obvious, since I could tell where they were added on right away.

Done, get them here.

And finally, a little preview of what's to come:

Hmm, not too sure how I feel about his hair, but loving the overall design!
