add .rel files to brawl iso = freeze

i have the japanese iso of brawl, the module .rel files worked fine when i tested them out on a sd card (don't ask why don't i just run brawl off of gecko, i like to keep back-ups). when i added them to the iso, the game freezes when i pick the stage. The disk reads, then it just stops. one stage gets the beeeeep. i don't know if it's because of the region of the game or if the NTSC-U .rel files don't work with the japanese brawl .rel files or what, but i just wanna know what can be done to fix this, if there's a way?

I'm experimenting almost the same problem, with some of the characters' textures. After I choose the bad character and the stage, the game freezes. As you said, it starts reading the disc, and then stops.

I think that the problem could be that there is a limit in the size of the files, or maybe the Wiiscruber 1.3 failed replacing the files. I'm gonna use the recommended 1.21 version; so, I will   tell you if I solve the problem. And, if you have solved it, please tell  me.

I solved the problem using the version 1.21 of Wiscrubber instead of the newer. Now all my textures work fine with the ISO disc.

NEVER use any different WiiScrubber versions other than 1.21, and 1.4.
