Wii Power Button Light Turns Orange/Yellow???

Ever since I hacked my Wii it always did this.  When I turn off the Wii, the green light will just turn to yellow or orange.  It always confuses my family, because from far away the yellow/orange light sometimes looks like it's green and nowhere near the color red.  If I took off the Wii's plug and put it on again the light turns red, but when I use it and turn it off it will return to being yellow/orange.  Does anyone why it does this?  And If possible, can you tell me how to fix it? :oshi:

Isn't it because you have that "WiiConnect24" thing on?

when you turn the wii off by pressing the power button, or using the wiimote to turn it off, it will be orange. if you force turn it off, by inplugging it, or holding down the power button if the wii freezes, it turns red.

That Orange light means you have WiiConnect24 enabled, this means your Wii can still pick up news feed updates that is sent to you while your system is off. When WiiConnect24 is disabled, the Wii power light will turn Red. If WiiConnect24 is enabled and you want to turn it completely off (Red), just hold down the power button when the Wii is on till the light turns red.
