Odd (harmless) bug

So, a good deal of time ago I was messing around with the multitude of mods I have installed and this happened. I'm pretty sure there were no active mods for Captain Falcon or Pit, and that there weren't even any Pits in the match. 
Anyone have any idea what could have caused this? Is this as harmless as I think it is or have I reached the mod event horizon or something equally ridiculous?

You clearly have a Winged Captain Falcon PSA. Just go to your captain folder and delete the FitCaptain.pac

The thing is, that was a one-time thing. It has never happened again, and I don't have any mods that would cause that. It went away later in the same battle.

If that's the case, then there's nothing anyone can do to help you because you might have done something that messed up your game.

Well that's.. mildly unsettling. Do you have any idea what "something" may have been?

I have never ran into this issue in my history of Brawl modding, so I would not know.
