I like the idea.

But remember tools like the Burn tool (and some other ones, can't think of the off the top of my head) are your friend when shading.

well the thing is that homer isnt reallly shaded much in the show, and i never knew there was such thing as a burn tool ._.

I think Wario is a better Base for Barney (from the Simpsons of course, not the dinosaur).

If you made Wario as Barney, that would be one of the most awesome things ever, but out of the characters you listed. A Shikamaru texture on Lucas would be really cool.
