The Once Banished is Back.

Where did this idea come from, eh?
 
You've seen it float around before probably, but with the famous new texture deployment of Baby Mario at Elite Smash Hackers, we had our own giant project develop. Young Link has an incredibly large fan base, and we're no different from the rest of them.
 
Who MADE this Epic-Winning-Pwnage-ness?
This was a complete joint project between myself (Jack H.) and Zephron; - Zephron created the Young Link replica texture, as well as performed EVERY beta test. I worked the code behind the madness, and performed voice alterations, as well as item removal for certain "adult link only" elements of his body.

Q: What did you DO!?
 
A: It's quite simple (to explain, not to perform) We modified certain parts of his body to be enlarged and shrunken. His shield is the exact same size as Adult Link's, naturally. Those two "pouches" on Link's rear end have been removed to further replicate the actual young link. Chopped his side-burns in half, shrank his hat, modified his eyes and over-all look to be more 'young-link'-ish, as well as a LOT of other things.
 
Q: Wait, you modified his voice?
 
A: While character voices aren't replaceable, we performed the next best thing and raised the pitch for Link. (NOTE: This raises the pitch for all "Player 1" selected Characters. Unavoidable - and not a big deal) Curious? Listen to our sample 30-second-clip of the audio differences. Keep in mind that we tested MANY ranges of pitch, and found this one to stay away from the "helium" sound that happens when you go too high.

I'd use these model hacks if it wasn't for every costume of the character being changed. I want to be able to play as Mewtwo AND Lucario. Pichu AND Pikachu. Young Link AND Link. But I guess it's not possible to assign a model hack to only one costume (and for all four players)...

thats also the reason why i dont download them. They are cool and all but it is a sad thing to loose 4 textures for that character just to play as young link.

BTW, if you have the code on, but not the texture and you have a texture of diety link, will it turn diety link into young diety link? or will the texture get all distorted and look weird?
