Uh? You are entirely confusing this whole thing up. So let's arrange it again:

FitLucario = Mewtwo's PSA.

You'll rename it FitWario.pac (So it's over Wario) and use the .REL

Now, the Sound Bank code makes this Wario slot use Lucario's Sound Bank, meaning nothing else needs to be edited. BUT, you want to use Wario's Sound Bank (And leave Lucario's Sound Bank as Lucario). For this, you need to edit Mewtwo's PSA to use the Sound Effect IDs that Wario actually uses, and not the Sound Effect IDs that Lucario uses.

At the moment, the PSA summons Lucario's Sounds. If you go in-game without the Sound Bank code, you'll have the PSA muted. What you are doing is making the PSA use Wario's Sound Bank. You'll go and replace Wario's WAV files for Mewtwo's, recognize which ID is what, and replace the IDs in the Mewtwo PSA.

Sorry for confusing you, I guess I should've stick to what you said, the Mewtwo PSA. I know well that I had to rename  "Lucario" to "Wario" .rel I guess I miss interpreted to what I had to  say.

So,  all we do is change mewtwo psa sound effect to wario sfx id and it does not have to do with disabling sound-banks on  HXD or Module Editor .  

I guess I don't have to do go through the trouble with the sound banks codes, luckily.

But would that mess up the sfx id because the sound bank was already set in the Rel file.

Like for example what if I made all the mewtwo sound effect has wario id using PSA  but the soundbank code which was built in the rel file has Lucario Sound Effect ??

When I say Lucario PSA, I meant Mewtwo PSA because I thought everyone would say that just so it's easy to refer which PSA is over with.   I see what you did there ...

I  have one more thing that troubles me.  Since I got a Plug&Play for Wario.rel of Phantomwings version, I believe it said that the Soundbank was built in the modules, so I was wondering how do you disable the soundbank.

I think I have to  open up either the HXD or Module Editor, but I don't know how to do that

No. That is not how it works. You only need to change the Sound Effect IDs to use Wario's bank. The rest has nothing to do with Sound/Sound Bank.

So let me get this straight, you want me to download FitWario.pac ( Wario PSA) to open up PSA so I can only change the Sound effect to  Lucario ID????

Oh Shoot, I think I know what you're saying.    As for Lucario PSA, I only need to change to Wario ID Sound Effect, now that make sense, hopefully that's what you meant. I don't know how did I end up getting mixed up. So in essence, I don't need FitWario.pac  ( Well only change lucario to wario) but you know what I'm talking about    Oh shi~

But wait a second, wario has more Wave file than Lucario does.  Do we add extra sfx slot for the PSA??

But That would also mean that I have to change the "Main", "GFX"  and "Other" through Sub action into Lucario ID because that would play  Wario Moveset and mess up the value  instead of Mewtwo if I did not change it.

So am I following??

Alright, now I'm confused.  When I opened up fitwario.pac and lucario.pac, all the subaction soundeffect are the same and  the only difference is that I only rename a file to "FitWario.pac" which I forgot that it was a Lucario PSA.

I was using Lucario rel port over Wario Which I thought you  meant that I have to use Lucario PSA as  FitWario   Rel in order to replace to lucario sfx?  If it's Wario PSA , wouldn't that make the whole rel port pointless?? 
Because that would mean I have to change not just sfx but the whole animation moveset and probably more  to replace over  Wario  PSA  with Lucario.

I also realized that Wario has more wave than Lucario when I checked through smashbox or brawlbox, so I probably as you said do the wario psa not as Wario Lucario rel.


I can't really find the buttons/ controls  for the animation moveset in the BB.  I can only find when I navigate and expand Animation Data
  • > AnmChro ( NW4R)< " All the animation moveset list"   in the FitMotionEtc.pac

When I select the animation, I looked at the right side and it didn't give me all the detail for the controls.

Unless you mean that I have to open up the model viewers for Wario00.pac  but it only show the movement when I load up the fitmotion pac and select the animation to play, I still wouldn't know the controllers or buttons.

I have only one more question and thats Final i swear, is there index for me to know the animation controls like just now i know that Nspecial is neutral B but I don't know the button for "Attack 100 Start"

Can you tell me more about "Value" because I don't really understand why we must keep to 8 digit by adding "0"  or is to match other characters sound value??

Also, when I type on the certain code in the Sub Action, sometime it has more than One sound effect. Do I leave it as is or do I have to modify one of them or all???

Last question: Since the sfx wav file was already  set in order by a person when I download the  Mewtwo Sawnd file and export all to wav, does all characters have the same categorization  moveset in  arrangement with all the sfx set up .  

If so, then I don't have to through all the trouble in identifying the id by guessing which is the right moveset for the sfx??  

Like for example what if all wav 0 is wait animation ?

You'll have to edit the Mewtwo PSA (FitWario.pac) with either PSA or BrawlBox and change all the IDs to fit the IDs on Wario.You can use BrawlBox to edit PSAs, but you'll need an older build, can't recall which. I'd strongly advise you just go and download PSA (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=53473.0) and edit them with it.

So, in resume, you need to export every Mewtwo sound from Lucario on the smashsound.brsar, replace Wario's sounds with them, save which ID belonged to what, and simply open up the FitWario.pac on PSA and change the ID to the new ones.


Thank you so much, I finally get it, which I never thought of  using Brsar to export wave file and then insert the wave in sawndz012 to match the sfx ID.  Took me a while to get this answer lol

I never use PSA before so I wouldn't really know how to use it but I get what're you saying if I have to change SFX ID for fit(Wario).pac  which i was surprise that I never knew that short term " PSA" stands for Project Smash Attack. XD

Now I can finally know which category tutorial if I want to start off because I believe there were none for using PSA to change SFX ID under SFX Tutorial

I have one more question though

Someone told me that Mr. GameWatch  has no voice clips or at least its sounds are too short to make an sfx over them  if I want to replace it.

So is there more than to it???

Hmm, as I said before, I'm pretty useless for this stuff, but instead I could recommend someone you could ask, because he's the person I'd ask if I were to try to find out for you. Look up shock44 on youtube. Out of everyone I know, I know he knows stuff about super sawndz (I think it's super sawndz) and other stuff sfx-related.

To use Wario's Sound Bank, you will have to open PSA. Each sound is given an ID, an ID that is called if there is a sound when doing X action (Walk, Side Smash, Jump, etc). Every sound the character makes is summoned from the PSA. So what you will need to do is:

Recognize the ID of the original sounds over Lucario.

Replace Wario's sounds with Mewtwo's manually.

Make a table to know the ID of every sound in comparison to Lucario's.

Open FitWario.pac (Mewtwo's) on PSA and start changing the old sound ID for the new sound ID on Wario.


Ok I understand that I need to find the Id sfx of the PSA Moveset to replace with but how can I replace it if this sfx is made of sawnd file??

I mean sure I can check through super sawndz using sawnd file to view every mewtwo sfx when compare to original lucario sfx moveset but I can't use sawnd file because there's no way to open up or to export something  if I want to change id.

Which program do I have to open PSA ( FitWario).  Do you mean Brawlbox??  If so how can I replace if it's only for model, texture, contructing joints,  and animation?

Hey guys,

 I want to move Mewtwo SFX Moveset over Wario which the download comes with the Sawnd file for over Lucario.

   With Sawnd File, it's harder for me to come up with a way to modify because I'm usually quite familiar with  Wave file using Sawndz 012 and Super Sawndz  which I canreplace over any character I want to.

I don't want to use Soundbank Code because that would mean having the same sfx would   also affect whatever I have over Lucario.

I also want to port Naruto SFX over Game& Watch which it also comes with Sawnd File for over Ike.

I'm looking through some tutorial  or any  methods of how people swap  sfx hack but I can't really find what I'm looking for.

Is there anyone  with experience who have been swap sfx could help me out??  Thanks

Um I've had that problem anyway this is what causes it if anyone is too close to you within 3 or 4 steps of you Naruto does the normal Rasengan animation and flips forward and then the camera gets stuck like that.

Also don't know if this is supposed to happen or not but when you go into sage Naruto stays in that mode until the match ends, if you go into chalkra mode he's stays stuck in that mode until the match ends too. No other problems with Naruto though.

And you already know about Sasuke losing his voice.

I'm sorry everything I post here is always so negative your PSA's are always so awesome though, again sorry. Sad

Sasuke only lose his voice if I only fight against Marth   because having the real Marth and a clone Marth in a battle   usually cause  a glitch

Hey man,

I tried your Naruto PSA and everything works fine  except there's a major glitch if anyone touched Naruto before I use Rasen Shiruken, the camera pose stuck when using the special  for the rest of remaining until the game is over.

 My characters can still move and attack after the special, but I had to deal with this awkward camera position.

Naruto rasenshiruken works only  if I use the special before anyone touch me.

Well I ported over Mr. Game Watch so I dunno if that could possibility of this main glitch??

Well since I'm using Beyondyous Riivolution ,  mines comes complete different method of replacing sounds than from what I'm understanding because it sound like you're telling me that now  Gecko Os is easier to modify the sfx for sawnd file when renaming the id for the character that I want to replace

If I want to put announcer call, it can only work if I select Lucario when they call " Mewtwo"  so for Wario, it really won't work that way. 

If sfx pack comes with .Wav then it's easier for me to match the id for wario when opening up for sawndz program so that I can replace over with  but since this announcer is Sawnd file which is specially made over lucario like I said if there is a tutorial or way for me to customize this file or something to change into wario id.

Even I opened up a sawndz program to load my brsar, which listed all the sawnd file for the characters, I can't rename it and I think as I said before I probably have to create sawnd when select the sfx/voice   I want to rename the  file id by export first then to replace the voice that I want to replace over with to match well for the moveset.

Well I havn't played Brawl in a long time and I started to play  like a couple weeks ago so I might be wrong because I forget things.
