Hi Robzdablades here.

I never thought I'd be here again asking for help. >_>

Anyways I have a problem with textures on a stage. Its a weird error and its barely noticeable by others.

the textures on my stages sometimes randomly darkens. here how it works.

*I restart my brawl and play on my custom stage without playing any other stages. Afterwards I play on a different stage. THEN i go back to my custom stage and realize that some textures are darker then before.*

Why is this? why does this happen? Heres a picture of my stage after I played a different stage.

Notice how the limos abit darker?

any feedback would be appreciated.

Well, that's not a texture problem. It's a lighting problem. I mean, I have one stage in the vault that has that same problem, but I did not remove it on purpose because it's interesting to me.

Let's say, there are some kinds of models, or material types if you prefer. And each light has an effect over each kind of model/material. If a stage has light for only certain objects, and not for others, those other objects will get a lighting used before, like another in another stage played before.

The stage in the Vault I have with that problem on purspose, is a FD with an SSE background, the name is Shadow Bug Final Destination. Depending of the stages loaded before, it has either a lighten or a darken ground, and that makes it interesting in some way. But, of course, that's not good for your car.

There are 2 possible solutions.

1- Try changing the flag3 property for the textures in the car to another number, the same as Goroh or something. Same to other darkened models.

2- If freezes, or simply doesn't work, try to get another lighting. I am lately using the one in Distant Planet, it has 4 different lights I guess, and it's almost sure it will fix the problem in your stage. Get it from one of my latest stages such as Saffron City if you want. You should edit the lights to be the same as the ones you're using now, this is possible with the latest unofficial version of brawlib in smashboards. If you get any trouble with this, just ask me.

Try them in that order, as it's faster to make the first one, and if it works, it's not necessary to make the second one.

Tell me if you're successful with it. Also, keep up the good work, your stages are great =)

how do you get your characters in the same modeldata read different ChrAmn? Like they all read the same one. Which is bad I made another ChrAmn but the character still refuses to use it. but instead stands there all frozen like a dumb[censored].

No. I wanna read from different AmnChr. The two anomations are in the same folder. But only the first one on top works. The second one fails and does nothing. All bones are different names I r not retarded *Well I am for running into this problem*

And I cant put the character model into another Modeldata[] folder or the game will crash.
Modeldata[0] is the only one I get it working in. Give me knowledge.

like the title implies, I looking for a way to import a models AnmTexSrt along with the model. For example I take the battlefields model and export it to yoshi's island modelData[1]. Great it's there and all that crap but it has no animations and stuff, I still need to export the AnmTexSrt to modeldata[1] where yoshi's island is. but I have no way to create a new AnmTexSrt or import it.

it there another way of doing this? I tried just making a new BRResource pack to import the whole modeldata. for example I export the whole battlefield stage(just the stage in modeldata[10]) and import it as a BBResource pack in ARC entry 2 in Yoshi's Island and renamed the file index to the next available number (example: if theres already a 1,2,3,4 then i would rename it to 5)

The Textures are all there. But the stage wouldn't show ingame. Any clue to what im doing? Cause Honestly I have no idea what i'm doing.

(all stages I have made so Far had all the models I imported into the same file index. Like castle battlefield. I simply Imported all the models into modeldata[1]. Is there a way to import models that can have their own fileindex? I'd like some stages I import to have Anomations, for example clouds moving.)

P.S. If there has been a topic that already questioned about this please link me the address for I have bad searching skills. I will Delete my Topics that already have answers to them.

Ok real simple question here. I get the most of the camera stuff on stage editing. I didn't need any help figuring out most of the stuff but heres a question to something I can't get working.

I wish to move the camera upwards abit so it looks like it's looking down on you. And I wish to know a way so the camera is zoomed in abit. this applies to a stage i'm making, The camera is zoomed too far out.

This has probably been ask before. I have searched for an answer and fail. But luckily I have this site and it's people to help out. Lets say a stage had water on it. like the one im currently working on. but as you guessed it I just flat out eye candy. Characters just fall through it.

I dunno if it has to do with models or collisions. But if anyone knows ANYTHING about water and how to add the effect when characters fall in it.

I played arc rise. and... well... I loved it. It was something I was totally not expecting. Too bad the dubbing was horrible XD

I took the area from the title screen of the game and Pimped it out. :p

This stage will replace FD. doesnt require a .rel file.

The original city stage. Theres other copies of this stage to fit other peoples needs.
I have also provided a Brstm into package. This stage goes over 75M and doesnt require a .rel file

SSS included. with two Brstms. Feel feel to replace them if you wish.

bar graphs are animated. the back moniter has a flickering effect and there's two barriers on the far left and right. so the only way to kill is from up or down. (its a training room right? let's try killing with skills. :p)

Every game has a training stage right? Brawl had one but it wasn't playable. but everyone knows that. So I made A was -awesomer- looking training room.

This was something I had fun working on. This stage was my first hack I made. Tho it was only a recolour. I came back after I gain a few levels in creativity. And it happens that I Put on a good show! I have my old grand stadium Brstms in this download along side newer ones. I hope you all enjoy the main event! :p

There has been other versions of this club. But they didn't have that club *feel* usually when I'm in a club its really dark and theres flashing lights everywhere. Well this is close to it. I've added animations for the floor. which was a big change. Well All in all, The club V3 has alot of improvements. I hope y'all put this stage on your brawl list. ^^

This is an imported stage that was modded to fit brawl standards. You fight on a rotating gear while Simon watches. *I guess he doesn't feel like fighting for today >_>* simon has a grin on his face saying "tsk. These chumps got nothin' on me."

Ok serious question here. I really must be missing something here. I have imported Lyn's model into a stage.
lyn's model is in modeldata[1]

all her textures are in place and I made a custom stance for her followed with some animations. All thats done.
shes moves and everything on the stage. No, shes not fighting shes just there to make the stage look more pretty.

anyways heres my problem. SHE'S ALL GOLD. i mean her textures are gold?? why is this? everything else works fine except the textures aren't working.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? Cause I got a great Idea for a stage that involves her.

Is there anyway to edit collision data so that you can move the data behind or in front of a stage? For example move battlefields collision data behind the stage so when you brawl you'll appear behind the stage fighting on invisible platforms.

Any ideas?

I've been searching for an answer for a long time but have never found a solution. is there anyone out there who knows how to add those bloody things? I want my edited stages to be the best quality I can get them. and shadows are a nice touch.

This also applies for lighting effects like on pokemon stadium. how do I get the same effect or import them without importing the whole model?
