16  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: The Albafika/SJS Projects - Rosalina Released 12/24 on: January 06, 2014, 04:18:00 PM
I don't mean to bother you again, but the Rosalina import does have another incident that I'm not liking, but this time, it's with the head and neck bones.  Whenever the head or neck are rotated, their appearance can look rather disturbing...

I know that you've worked hard enough with the import, but I just think that the head and neck area should be fixed up, whenever possible.

Take your time.  It never hurts to double check how the vertices will handle the bone movements for all angles.

I looked at the model import, and while it looks very well done, I'm not really liking how the shoulder bones mess up the vertex placements on the Rosalina_face polygon...

Is there any way that this can be fixed up?

Something something [censored]s Rosalina

That actually looks quite good there.

It wouldn't hurt to add the eye highlight onto Silver's eyes during the process.  He looks almost soulless without it.

I took a look at your Peach hack, and it seems that you might want to fix up the eye lid textures.  Apart from that, nice work.

Someone has to make Bane-Puff now. It has to exist.

At first I thought that you were referring to Cad Bane, because his hat would look quite amusing on top of Jigglypuff's head.

I guess I can do nothing about it, some antivirus are just stupid. If you want to use it, you may have to temporarily disable your antivirus, or whatever program that tells you it's not safe. I can assure you that the program won't harm your computer or anything. I'm not a hacker ^^U xD

I was able to work around it, but the program was a waste, as I kept getting errors stating that I have no codes.

Anyway, I only looked at it, because of my mistake that was easy to fix.

I've said it many times already, you should try my cbliss tool. It really makes things easier, at least with codes.

If it's menu things, then it's a matter of downloading the cBliss files and modifying them with the stages part and stuff.

I hate to tell you this, but your program is considered to NOT be safe when I tried to download it.

Anyway, I did see an error with Wario's small portrait order with the current code set, in that the portraits are not following the same order as the new color order...

FitWario02 -> InfFace376
FitWario03 -> InfFace373
FitWario05 -> InfFace374
FitWario08 -> InfFace380
FitWario09 -> InfFace379

Can this be fixed up so that we don't have to mess around with portrait renaming?

Edit: Disregard what I said about Wario.  I forgot to input the modified InfFace portraits into my SD card.

I'd like to point out that if you're using any of the extra color slots for the Ice Climbers, you'll always be playing as Popo.  This basically means that you can only play as Nana if you're using FitPopo01, FitPopo04, or FitPopo05.

Huh... ok.
And, do I need to put extra costumes for Warioman/Giga Bowser too?

Giga Bowser and Wario-Man only have one color slot, and they're used by ALL the Bowser and Wario color slots respectively.

In other words, regardless of which Bowser color you use, the color will always use the FitGKoopa00.pac file while using his Final Smash.

Some more tests, and I've seen the following...

1: Oddly, Solid Snake didn't crash the game when I left the Group mode results screen.

2: A MenSelchrFaceB .brres files that has CI8 portraits, instead of CMPR portraits, didn't cause game crashes on the results screen.  This is partly because Wario has 12 portraits, while everyone else is only able to have 10; Wario normally has as many as 12 CI8 portraits, which uses more memory than a set of 10 CI8 portraits.

Of course, part of this ordeal may be because I've implemented some hacks that blazingflare set up.

I'd like to point out that if Kirby is wearing his Olimar cap, the bulb that's on top of the antenna will not be visible for FitKirbyPikmin07, FitKirbyPikmin08, and FitKirbyPikmin09.

Edit: It seems that for some odd reason, the game crashes while Kirby is wearing the Solid Snake cap.  This apples to Training Mode, but I haven't tried Group mode yet.

Edit 2: I stand corrected.  The Solid Snake cap wasn't responsible for the crashes, but it was Solid Snake himself.

On the next revision, it's probably a good idea if StockFaceTex.brres is altered as well, just to be more friendly towards the Tourney and Rotation game modes.

Update: I've been testing out the color specific Kirby Hats for the new color slots, and I have had to deal with some game crashes during the process.  The tests have mostly been for Training Mode right now though.

I decided to try this out on an emulator, and I have gotten a couple soft game crashes, even when I didn't choose any of the new color slots.  I can't really pinpoint where the issues are at, as the anomalies seem to be random.
