Toon ZeldaI've decided to finally start a Toon Zelda PSA. Toon Zelda will be over Jigglypuff. This will take some time, and help is MUCH appreciated. If you want to help me out, just tell me, I'll be happy if you do. I need help with animations, if you can do that and want to help me, like I said, tell me. So far all that is done is this:*The model is imported and working *It has a normal Zelda PSA on it (it won't stay that way) *Model is smaller Moveset Ideas (unfinished, ideas appreciated) Moveset PreviewsPictures*Help wanted and needed! I am using Zelda's moveset over Jigglypuff as a base.

Holy cow! that Toon Zelda Picture looks real beautiful. I do have a question, Wouldn't it be easier to to Rig Toon Zelda over Toon Link due to their bone structures possibly being perfectly Synced together? But who am I to question on how it's possible when I got no experience at modeling, or rigging.

If you're going for Toon Zelda, she should probably play very similarly to Zelda herself, but with more of an emphasis on athletics and direct attacking. Being that she's significantly younger, she would be somewhat inexperienced at magic, and wouldn't be as quick at firing spells off. But due to her inexperience, her spells might go off with a little more brute force behind them than is strictly necessary for their execution. Here are a few changes I would suggest: (wall of text-ish post ahead) Toon Zelda's jumps would be higher, and she would fall faster. She might actually be slightly heavier than her adult form, as in all games featuring Toon Zelda she's shown to be much more athletic (and thus, probably more resilient to your usual cuts and bruises) than her adult self.
Toon Zelda would run faster than her adult counterpart.
Nayru's Love, Din's Fire, and Farore's Wind should have longer startup times and shorter range, but be more damaging. — Nayru's Love would be more damaging and would trap foes before spitting them out on the final hit. Would have longer startup and cover a smaller area, but last longer. This means it would deal more hits and the reflective barrier would have a longer duration. May also grant a weak Heavy Armour effect for the duration of the barrier. — Din's Fire would have longer startup and shorter maximum range, but would travel faster, have larger blast radius, and deal more damage. It would have a delay between when B is released and when the fireball explodes. — Farore's Wind would take longer to start up, have slightly shorter travel distance, and have more endlag. In exchange, the move would slow Zelda's fall during the startup and would pop Zelda upwards if ended in the air. In addition, the burst of wind that covers Toon Zelda when the move starts would be wider-reaching and more damaging. The explosive burst as the move ends would have slightly more range, be more damaging, and would have knockback capable of causing a KO at higher percentages. It might also come out slightly after Toon Zelda reappears, leaving her vulnerable for a split second.
Toon Zelda's Forward, Backward, and Down Aerials would deal less damage and knockback on the sweetspots compared to adult Zelda, but the sourspots would deal more damage and have more knockback than for adult Zelda, making the sourspots not leave her vulnerable after they connect and making them useful as poking aerials. They would also have shorter endlag than adult Zelda's equivalent.
Neutral A attack would be changed to a two-hit AA combo where Toon Zelda punches the opponent twice. The second hit would loop easily back into the first, but it would push the foe away after just a few hits.
Forward Smash would be changed to a single, heavy knockout-style punch augmented by magic. Toon Zelda simply throws a single straight punch to the jaw (like you see in movies, where they leave their arm out after the punch connects and the foe collapses to the ground), and a slight glow of magic light appears in front of her hand. If the magic sweetspot connects, the punch has fairly strong, nearly-horizontal knockback and deals good damage. If her fist hits the foe directly, the punch deals slightly less damage, and instead of launching the foe the punch flinches them in place if they're on the ground, in a manner similar to the first hit of Snake's FTilt. Aerial foes are simply launched with mid-weak horizontal knockback. Compared to Zelda's FSmash, this move would deal less overall damage with the magic portion than hers does, while knockback would be basically on par. This attack would be much faster than Zelda's FSmash and, unlike Zelda's, would be impossible to escape due to being only 1 hit. On the other hand, it would have significantly less range.
Down Smash would be both stronger and faster than that of adult Zelda, but would have less range due to Toon Zelda's decreased size.
Up Smash would have shorter range and be less damaging. Overall, it would be inferior to that of adult Zelda.
Final Smash would equip her with the Light Arrows. Instead of firing a single shot, the Light Bow would remain in Toon Zelda's hands. All of her standard, aerial, tilt, and smash attacks would be changed to Light Arrow shots at various angles and in various multi-shot sequences. They would fire rapidly and would travel extremely fast, but would for obvious reasons be significantly less damaging than adult Zelda's Light Arrow. (I'd estimate about 14% damage per shot to be reasonable.) They would be able to KO at high-ish percentages, be it in a single shot or by shoving the target over the blast line with repeated attacks. (They should probably have low base knockback but high knockback growth.) The Final Smash would probably last anywhere from 12 to 18 seconds depending on balance, and Toon Zelda would have either invincibility, Super Armour, or Heavy Armour for the duration, depending on what seems most reasonable. As for the character model you've got there, it somehow makes her look old... If I had to try and diagnose the problem, I'd say: 1. Her arms are too thick. 2. Actually, her entire body is too wide. Makes her look like a slightly big-boned lady, instead of a preteen. 3. Her head is too tall, and her mouth is slightly too low. Her eyes, nose, and mouth are much closer together in the official art. 4. Her legs (and by extension, lower dress) are actually too long. 5. And quite possibly one of the biggest causes, she has no neck! Obviously she doesn't need to be as much of a pencil-neck as she is in the official art, but she at least needs as much of a neck as Toon Link has. And her necklace is too tight. 6. The blue eyeliner is too pronounced. 7. On a somewhat unrelated note, the arm-holes on her dress are too big, and her undershirt is more visible than it should be.

Well, I don't want to replace Toon Link, so I thought of putting her over Jigglypuff and there are no glitches ^_^ Post Merge: May 28, 2014, 02:55:39 PM
Just put it ^_^

I'll say this, when it's finished it'll do real good at complimenting together with the Wind Waker Toon Link Moveset.

I can get you the Deku Leaf model if you need it. And I can try with the mirror shield.

Someone say Deku Leaf?
I've already made it, if you want it. I gave it to Kitsu to use with her Toon Link PSA.
