"SalaComMander (from KC:MM and here if he goes here) and I are wondering how one can give Jigglypuff a certain hat (like RandomTBush made Bill's hat from TF2). I tried giving Jigglypuff the crown from the Peach Kirby, added the bones (and renamed them like the original hat), but it didn't work in-game.
And, do model names matter w/ the custom Jigglypuff hats? I named mine 'WpnPurinCrown'" |

I tried to do this too. This is what RandomTBush told me: I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to give Jigglypuff one of Kirby's hats. In fact, it would probably be easy to do so, just re-name the bones to match the one for Jigglypuff's sleep hat, and re-position the vertices so that it's aligned nicely. I think. I haven't tried that yet.
But, as for replacing a different hat, it might take a bit more effort. I still haven't gotten my first attempt to work properly, even though I believe I re-built the MDL0 properly, so it's best to wait for BrawlBox v0.64 (which will have a model builder).
And yes, it's possible to give Kirby a hat from TF2 as well, using the same method I used for giving Jigglypuff the Bill's Hat and the Mining Light.

Hmm, the bones are named and matched up the same.
I renamed the model to match the sleep hat's model. I'll try that.

I think I know why my crown isn't working. I'm not putting it over FitPurin02 (the sleep hat). If I want a hat on another slot, I'd have to hex it on (which would be hard).

Blame the tourney players then. Not everyone is allowed to use the King. At least I've called her NinjaPuff since Melee. That's what I'm releasing it as.
