Idea: edit the lack of .pac into the info, leaving the report open for bigger problems. Like Seg said, while all reports are equal, some are more equal than others.
I'm still not really sure what you're asking for. Or, rather, I think I'm sure, but if I'm right, I don't see why it needs a thread.
Wouldn't the fixes go in the hacks themselves, not the thread?
I was imagining a thread with the OP being a bunch of links to hacks with "easily fixable" reports. Replies to the thread would be people providing those fixes. But that sounds like "requesting them" to me, which you seem to be saying is not the point?
If that's what we want, then someone who wants to organize it can make a thread elsewhere, and I'll move it here (since you can't make threads here yourselves).
I thought my description was rather clear... Users provide pictures and download links for hacks that lack them. Or rather hacks that have had broken ones for a long time. Brawl Vault mods can then take these fixes and put them into the problematic hacks. A thread would be the best place to organize it and let people know this sort of thing exists. But if the staff would rather not do this sort of thing for whatever reason, I'll make the thread myself. |

What makes it unclear is how you say that this thread is "instead of requesting fixes" but go on to describe something that, to me, sounds exactly like requesting fixes. If you or a BV supervisor or whoever thinks s/he can handle it would like to make a thread, I will gladly move it here to News. I mean, all SJS is saying is that we could make a thread to post and replace broken links on the Vault for working ones.
For example, I can't believe this hack has had a dead link for over 2 months. |

How is this invalid? The preview link DOES link to Mediafire. Previews are meant to show an actual preview instead of a separate file with the sounds in them. Also, there are a few hacks that are reported for not having a preview in the SFX section. Should those really be reported for that? For one thing, a lot of them don't have a preview, and they aren't reported.
