A quality, team friendly texture pack.

I'm a lurker and a collector. You don't know me, but I know you.

Over the last year, I have been collecting textures from all of the sites and forums. I would always update my roster to be the best it can be. It used to be that there would be only 1 good worthwhile texture for each character....but now I can almost fill in all of the character slots without having to compromise on quality.


This is the guideline I use when replacing textures.

- Original character slots are reserved for BP's SMAAASH!!! textures, or left empty. BP's series gives the game more variety and never interferes with the color replacement slots.
- Absolutely have to be team color friendly.
- No nudity
- Quality over Creativity.
- Has to more or less fit the character's model.
- Recolor textures are a last resort replacement.
- If requirements are not met, the slot would be left empty.


Download my Pf folder. It includes all of the textures below, CSPs, victory portraits, battle portraits and stages. I didn't bother finding a texture for every stage since I play this game competitively (well B+). I have textures for neutral stages, counterpick stages, and some illegal SMAAASH!!! stages.

Seriously wii, your Fierce Deity is amazing. I had a hard time replacing it. It just looks a lot better up close then in gameplay. When zoomed in, you can see the details like the shadow. but from farther away and moving, it kinda looks like his tunic and face are dirty. But that wasn't why I replaced it. TBH I was not too impressed by your shield and sword. When I downloaded the hybrid, the shield was sticking out like a sore thumb. FD link was dark, and his shield was bright red. I would love to see your FD with a new shield....or better yet. No shield! (which should be easier to make =P)


I'll release the CSPless pack in case anyone wants to modify it.


And chicken chaser. don't worry, I'll keep updating the pack with new textures until all of the CSPs are done....and i think it might take a while. But no matter, it will get done. that being said... I'm not sure if I would replace your new Pigma skin for the old one. It looks better and more accurate but there are glitches when playing with the warioman model, mainly his bite attack.

woot i was in the roster. nice choices man. this post might end up being the "go to" post for new hackers who want a good base of textures to start with. I'll bee geting this when it comes out. There are so many characters i don't have textures for.

I'm glad my Monkey texture made it to the list, you have a really nice selection of textures I'll look forward to the download link.

Also, I don't understand why you are including the SMAAAASH textures, personally I don't find those appealing... to me, it would be better to just keep the original color. But well... a matter of preferences.

I'm just about 90% done with the project. I've updated the roster, filled in a couple a spots, replaced a few other ones. I've used pre hexed pac files to remove some models from a lot of different textures to make them look more accurate. and finally i did a few minor modifications to some textures. There are still a few easy spots left if anyone is interested in making something like a green mk, diddy, or donkey. I'll be releasing the pack next week so if anyone wants to make it in by then, I will update the roster with your texture.
