I say it should be removed.
I vote Remove it
The deed is done. If anyone else finds anymore hacks like these ones, I'll gladly remove those as well.

Too bad. Cause I know one of the creators hasn't been on Since 2010.

My point still stands: "Not his work, not his call to upload it".

BV submissions need download links, not topic links.

There's a post from the old Brawlvault thread (which appears to be gone now) where Vyse said that he didn't have a problem with people uploading the works of others as long as credit was given for the sake of a more complete Brawlvault. If the people who actually did create the hacks did have a problem with It, then they should be taken down. Let me repeat that in case you didn't get It: If the people who actually did create the hacks did have a problem with It, then they should be taken down.
The only people who have any real say over rather or not a hack should stay in the Brawlvault is the person who made It, nobody else. Brawlvault is the only way some of these old hack might get any publicity, and you're gonna take that away from them just because they were uploaded by someone who didn't make them?! Is "people getting downloads for something they didn't make" really such a big deal? I mean, maybe you care enough about downloads that you think someone else shouldn't get them from something they didn't make. But what If these people didn't upload other people's work just to get downloads? What If they just wanted to give these hacks more publicity? What If that's all they wanted to do? They did add those people as a collaborator after all, so the creators would get the downloads for their work. If the issue really is the fact that the hacks were uploaded by people who didn't make them, then why not have the admins log into the accounts of these people who haven't been on in ages, and have them upload the hacks? What would be wrong with that? The creators get the downloads without sharing them with someone who didn't make them. I don't see what the problem could be there.

If you find plagiarism or theft, the best approach is to inform the original creator, since that's who is being "harmed." If they don't care or are inactive, then all the uploader is doing is publicizing hacks that would otherwise go ignored. why not have the admins log into the accounts of these people who haven't been on in ages, and have them upload the hacks? We can't just log in as them; we'd have to change their passwords.

Very well. I apologize for my hastiness in handling the situation. In all future circumstances, I'll either attempt to inform the original creator or (assuming he's MIA) I'll allow the hack to remain on the Vault. Again, my apologies.
