But not everyone knows this, especially those who rapidly browse the vault without getting info about the files first :/ But that's not a problem with the hack, It's a problem of the noob who doesn't know how to make .pac files. This has been brought up before and while I originally advocated removing "no .pac" reports, I have since changed my mind as not everyone knows that you can make your own. The thing is, most of these hacks that get reported for that are old, and even If the uploader is still around, they probably haven't updated the entry yet because you can make It yourself.

You're unfortunately correct, however while the reports won't solve the problem they can at the very least warn newer users before they download the .pac-less hacks. As for people making it themselves, the fact remains that many newer users either don't know how to or simply won't do it. The Vault unfortunately has to cater to the lowest common denominator. Anyway, that's my stance. The reports will remain for those downloaders that aren't as knowledgeable as the rest of us.

My two cents: Although I agree that noobs could/would report for no .PAC files, there are better things to report for.

I share my stance with Victory Badguy on the subject of PCS/PAC files. Also, I've seen (a bit late), that you guys were having a bit too much work these days with the reports, and so I allowed Pride to join the BV Supervisor team. So if you need to take a break like you wanted, Victory, the relief team is here.

Thank you all fixed Double checked the last two, the Waluigi one has the right files and the last one works by clicking the download button. Thanks for the notice.

Good. Now...
Why not make a community effort to fix reports? I'm not talking about major things like freezing issues, but minor things like broken downloads, broken images, etc. Some hacks have had broken downloads for a really long time. Someone out there has to have that texture, stage, etc. on their computer, right? It would be nice to see some sort of effort to remedy those long lasting reports.
Now why would anyone help this effort? An award of course. People love those things (shown best by the Shadow Pin). The pin could be awarded after 5 fixed reports (contributing images or a download link for example) and "level up" from there.
All that's needed is a mod/staff member willing to modify the hacks, community members willing to help, and a thread to keep it organized perhaps.
Now that you have more staff... do this.

Anyway, that's my stance. The reports will remain for those downloaders that aren't as knowledgeable as the rest of us. Idea: edit the lack of .pac into the info, leaving the report open for bigger problems. Like Seg said, while all reports are equal, some are more equal than others. Now that you have more staff... do this. I'm still not really sure what you're asking for. Or, rather, I think I'm sure, but if I'm right, I don't see why it needs a thread. A new thread mainly for providing fixes for hacks (instead of requesting them) editable by someone willing to put some time into it would be optimal. Wouldn't the fixes go in the hacks themselves, not the thread? I was imagining a thread with the OP being a bunch of links to hacks with "easily fixable" reports. Replies to the thread would be people providing those fixes. But that sounds like "requesting them" to me, which you seem to be saying is not the point? If that's what we want, then someone who wants to organize it can make a thread elsewhere, and I'll move it here (since you can't make threads here yourselves).
