So yeah, we'll probably go for making the pink badge => 3000. And making a new one for the 4000 limit. (5000 would be given to only ~15 people, which isn't too great.

Wait, I love this guy even more! Alright, reason why the award was pink, because back in the day before this pin/badges were made, that award was a star. To be specific, it was Kirby's Warp Star. Just like the 50K downloads is from Zelda, and the 10K is from Sonic, this one belongs to Kirby. Therefore, he made it pink, with a yellow star. He had no ideas really for a new one, so it never happened. Now I love this crown one that Nuke made, only thing the samll one could use a bit more shadow, so it doesn't stand out too much. |

Well, actually the whole reasonning behind the pink award was this : Now, about that crown one, it does look nice. Any idea for a Name to go with that icon ? 3000 DLs means you have been Favorite'd9000 DLs means you are >9000 !!! 4000 DLs means you ???(I'll probably ask SJS if he wants to remake it with his own template, so it doesn't look out of place.  ) |

Miacis, I believe it should be 5000.
One reason it being not everyone has acheived that goal. Most people are the people who got collaborated in a big project hack. The other reason, 4000 is too close to 3000.

Well, there's actually only ... something like 2-3 hacks in the most downloaded that collab more than 2 people. Only reason I wanted 4000 was because, between 4000 and 3000 there are more than twice as many people than between 5000 and 4000. I guess I'll make it 3000=>5000=>9000 though. The numbers make more sense that way. It's just that there won't be many people with the 5000 one. Just a few select 20. Still no name ideas for that crown award, btw ? .-. ****************************************** Another topic, about the music hacks and the Hyperactive Contributor award ... Chances are the Vault won't count music DLs before a rather long time. So it is indeed temporary, but it's a lengthy kind of temporary. >_> So, I guess until then, I'll have to remove the Hyperactive Contributor to the music hackers. Sorry guys, but it would be too complicated for me to keep track, otherwise. .-. I'll make a new one for 50 hacks though. |

I'm really sorry, but if there was a way for me to easily check the real DL counts and number of hacks of everyone, I swear I would use it. T_T Right now, keeping things like that would just cause a horrible confusion when I'll try to implement the 50 DLs award. Because I'd have to check the flawed stats page, and give it to people who already have the 1UP one, and ... well, it would be quite a mess, and really hard to keep track of, between the old and new stats. As for downloads-related awards, I guess I can keep them like that. Except for a few rare users who really specialize in them, music hacks won't majorly affect the total DL count. So that shouldn't be too hard to handle. I'm not doing this as an attack against music hackers. It's just that I see no other way to make it work correctly. ._. The only other way would be to hire a slave who would browse all the Vaults of everyone and count their real number of hacks. Because I don't plan on doing that by myself. |

i feel to make it fair is let the group who got thier badge keep em, and call it "grandfathering" in. it's usually a fair rule when you introduce som'in new and those who already got a badge or what ever to keep them, even though the new rule set would state other wise. |

Or ... I guess I could do this. Gonna make the list a bit disorganized though. We'd have, like 60 people with the 100hacks award and 20 with the 50hacks award. .-. I don't really like it, but I guess if it can avoid commotion ... Wait, that's it. I've found a way not to be confused. I'll make two times the same award. One with the "grandfathers" as you say, and one with the current counting. Should make it way more clear and tidy. You guys will keep your awards ! You just won't be in the same "list" as the ones who have it according to the current rule. ^^' I'll work on that after I get some food. :3 |

why not make a music hacker award,
cuz, are the music download thing now just somewhere else, or is it completely gone?
if its still somewhere, u could make an award for ppl with more than x downloads in music hacks, and another one for ppl with more than y music hacks submitted
