Something I noticed with Sparkster, but his file size is huge. To the point where I believe anything larger than the vBrawl moveset causes a freeze after selecting a stage. Default Diddy costumes are about 450KB for the .pcs for Sparkster is around 950KB.
guess halving the texture could fix that problem , most beyond imports are always near the freeze limit guess he doesnt like to cut quality on his imports xD |

Indeed. I halved the resolution of the Hair and main body textures and it reduced it to 513KB. Drop in quality is noticeable if you close up to Diddy, but it's not too bad from a distance and overall still looks decent. Still, it's a sad compromise to make nonetheless. |

Sparkster's texture looks amazing. Great job! Also, Godot over Snake. I don't like that series, but I think Godot is epic, and his design and coffee addiction if even more cool. Snake. And have him throw coffee instead of grenades.  Si |

That's one benefit if I had put him over TLink, he'd have more expressions and wouldn't be permasmile like he is now. Wish Diddys and Sparksters head weren't shaped so different so I could at least rig the mouth.
Texture quality was something I was battling with because anything lower than that 1024x1024 main texture just looked too bad to me so I kept it there despite the massive, borderline freezing filesize. Since the sword is a single-bind object it can easily be reassigned to the HaveN in BrawlBox if necessary, didn't think about that ahead of time.
If there are any changes people feel should be made or improved upon for Sparkster that wouldn't involve reimporting the model again, I'll try to fix it today.
But after that, it's Sir Gambito time. <_<

Yes, I was thinking the same thing XD ! Is it really Gambit time? Yeah i second that, It will be awesome ! I like that Beyond put is own creative touch on the model for Gambit as well. I LOVE what he did to the Deadpool model. I expect something of at least that awesome magnitude for Gambit (more in fact since it's a custom model). |
