@ BadGuy: you need CUPASH since that takes the .tgas you have and compile them into a common5.pac file which allows you to display custom character portraits in the first place.
@ mnsg: Hmm... I never used GIMP so I wouldn't know :| But in photoshop, the file has 71 color but even after indexing and compiling, it would sometimes reject the .tga file for "being too big". Maybe I should switch to GIMP since I don't have photoshop anymore. Oh and the battle portraits are already made at 31 color but thanks for the tip anyway
