finally i think i know why i hear the work i do is not for brawl netherless
two things
one is use this skill ,not only photoshop .

note this video use a complete retexture so no uv map to follow, because we create the uvmap but the model lost the rig after so need to be rig for brawl again.
second thing do you know before to be a 3d model an artist creates 2d drawing, wich will become a 3d model they use exactly the skill i used to create texture; netherless

they are not finished because i will not finished them for nothing if they are never rig and import in brawl but more i will work on them more i will can give them a look like a new generation model because i use the same skill than the model designer in game ,even if it will give a lot of work i would do this.
but why i speak of spiderman and ironman ? it is because they are created to looks to real a little like for the work i did on cloud .
contrary to the work i did for Goku and now ichigo, because ichigo and goku are from 2d anime so for have this 2d anime in brawl i recreated for the model the 2d texture.
Everyone can add shadow but me this
i don't know how create shadow and i can not do all of this alone.
with the skill i can take texture from ps4 new generation artwork anime... and transform them in 3d if i do this directly on the model i would have a lot of problem like a eye wich can do a color in one part of the body , the back wich become like the front , the head color wich appear on the leg ...
but if i used the complete retexture like you can see in the video first it is a litttle more simple i would have less of problem even if it is a lot of work because the texture has not been created for this model it is to me to adapt
anyway to resume , thanks to my friend mrmugenwii i learn to use a software wich is used to create texture for 3d model like used by the game creator
i think we could have the best quality texture brawl could supported all is need is team , time , work and picture to have a base
i could too recreate the form of every model but for instance i am not good with this
and a last thing to note
i work on the model you have already rig
spiderman used the last model import by Boygos... so maybe a automatic rig can be used and it is sure because the model does not change no high poly... because i work only on the texture and the texture alone give a correct size to the file
of course i can retexture too models not rig before if i used the complete retexture
and more again for dead or alive characters and game i have i could take picture in theather viewer of 360 degree ,to create a complete retexture quasi like in the game ,when we zoom on even if the max texture is 1024 pixels and on ps3 around 3000 pixels
the retexture could be best if i could have capture of a character front back front side but in the same moment to have exactly the same light and color... and this is quasi impossible to see in anime ,and rare in movie that's why i need to recreate me the side everytimes
by the way i don't see how my works can not fit well in brawl in this picture there is my ichigo texture , my cloud texture , a link shadow import but on wich i have worked the eye light and color .... and a normal gohan exactly like he is in the import but i don't see a shocking thing between the works i did and the normal texture of the brawl...
