    I would try to finish up the texture tonight, but there has been an incident with my extension cord.

    So I'll be able to texture for an hour or so, then charge my netbook. Then wait until it's fully charged and get back at it again.
    I don't know how many hours of work is left, but I would assume it's more than I'll be able to do on one charge.

    Darn it. /:

    I was really hoping for something tangeable to get done tonight so I can make another showcase.

    Ah well, take your time. I'll probably be up for another hour watching How It's Made. XD

    Gamma, did DO make Samus fire missles through his side smash? I see some new code that is only applied to Side Smash non-tilted.

    And the Up smash needs no GFX change because I made it so it just "goes to" the Special Hi graphics. It's temporary for now. (Because Shinespark will be the Special Hi).

    Btw, have you tested the new fit.pac Gamma?

    DO couldn't find a way to make her shoot Missiles. Sorry. /:

    I dunno. I think he attempted to make it work, but it didn't happen.

    Using it in-game, it summons a Missile, but the Missile just sticks to the end of the barrel forever. /:

    Also, by changing the graphics, I guess he meant summoning the generic Screw Attack graphic. Since now, she's engulfed in a fireball rather than electricity.

    So for now, all that needs to be changed is:

    -Side Smash reverted to normal (temporarily)
    -Up Smash needs the generic Screw Attack graphic instead of the fire
    -Final Smash reverted to normal

    Hm... I really don't understand how they get samus to shoot missles...

    Maybe its in the sub-routines... I'll do some searching.

    We need to brainstorm for a new f-smash then.

    Perhaps we can incorporate the Speed Booster in somehow? I don't forsee it working too well as the Dash Attack. /:

    K now from my testing...

    F-smash puts the missle on the barrel of the gun. It never leaves.
    While the missile is out in the manner, you can no longer use normal homing missiles. Probably because it is reading that the missile has already been summoned lol.

    The infinite n-air gfx looks different for some reason.

    up smash and screw attack have the wrong gfx.

    I don't see how you could implement speed booster as the f-smash without making it take you too far forward. I think it would work best as a dash attack with no momentum stop. As in you would just go through the opponent with it, damaging them but doing no knockback.

    How about using Screw Attack as the f-smash as well? Make her screwattack forward (one bounce) about the distance of Wolf's forward smash, then make another bounce back into her original position. The first hit doing some damage and have knockback on the part bounces back to her original position.

    Otherwise, I would rather just keep the f-smash as her default gun-punch. It's fitting enough.

    I say we just stick with the regular Forward Smash as well. We can get fancy later if we come up with an idea.

    Anyway, I'm off to bed. I get off of work at 6 tomorrow, so hopefully we can get stuff done then.

    Speed boost would be an excellent Side Smash!  And it wouldn't be too hard to do as you could just use her running animation, make her faster and use a blue flash overlay to make it look accurate, unless of course the overlay eats into the memory too deeply.  Oh and I'm pretty sure the missiles won't work as they were noted in the article details as getting stuck just as Gamma described.  You could always do a fake projectile, however it wouldn't be as neat as the missiles, but also wouldn't be a horrible replacement.

    I'm calling the Power Suit finished. I still need to make the visor and lights a little more green. The last hue changes I made turned them almost completely yellow.

    Here are some pictures.






    I'll make that one little change I mentioned earlier then make the Varia and attempt the M:OM Gravity suit by applying a purple ref (might not work).

    I thought I had a screenshot of the new back but I guess not.
    It looks "ok". It could be a lot better, but it is at least somewhat accurate now.
