I tested it today and... it does not work. Only the RSB4 folder is read and when i push and hold X and Y for 2 seconds or more, nothing happens. I tried into the title screen and menu selection screen. File patch code is working but not folder swapping. Other codes which were activated were working too. I don't understand why some hacks are not working for everyone...[/color]
if you are using the gamecube controller its gotta be on the first port or 1st player also make sure you are using the right code and your folders are set up correctly and yea apparently it takes you first to the new folder but you should be able to revert to the other oneQQ QQ: Any plans for classic controller support?
i only have half of the code for classic control decodedbut remember just because a code calls for a specific control, that doesnt mean you have to use the same controllers on all the slots
it just means that the first controller has to be the specific controller the code calls forhope that makes sense...
ill add that to the op later

I Just compiled a code out of the one i posted on the OP for the gamecube control and its working 100 percent for me. so
anyways 1. make sure your folders are named correctly 2. maker sure its a normal gcc controller 3. work with the least codes possible, plus the patch code, and add one by one til you find the one that is messing up

I tried everything possible to make it work. Renaming folders (rsbe to RSBE and rsb4 to RSB4), unplugging other GC controllers, trying button combination on other slots and other controllers, using file patch code alone, also tried the file patch code which uses Wiimote... Same result, only RSB4 is read and no folder swapping. So : 1-Folders are named correctly (RSBE and RSB4) 2-I have 4 Original Gamecube controllers and tried each one 3-I only used your file patch code without any other codes What else ?

if you press the button combinations more than once than youll just swap back to your original try this: rename your RSBE folder to RSB4 and if the file patch code does not read your hack file than that means there is something wrong with your RSBE folder, fix it. make sure your folders inside RSBE and RSB4 set up correctly. also: its not going to tell you ur folders have swapped, it just that when u go to ur CSS, if you have installed a different one, than you are going to see a different one
by different css i dont necessarily mean different layout, it can be the same css layout with different CSP's
anyways i tried the code myself and it worked, if you want me to help you anymore i need a text file with your folders setup and i need to see both your CSS files

That's simple. In RSBE folder, i have all hacks i gathered from the beginning of brawl hacking. In RSB4 folder, i kept musics and stages only. So in game i see a normal CSS with normal icons and portraits, and when i press the button combination it is still this normal CSS, which means folders didn't swap. Tomorrow i'll try something else : removing folders inside RSBE and RSB4 and just let my CSS in RSBE only to see if it swaps.

Idea: What are all your folder names from private to RSB E/4 Idea2: All your other folder names The problem might be there.... Btw ill try this code with rivo to see if it works <.<

That's funny, you didn't even try this code...
Mr.MW, it still does not work. I have done something simple : i removed ALL folders into RSBE > pf and RSB4 > pf and i just left for both pf > system. Into system there was Common3 for RSB4, and Common5 for RSBE. In game it shows a normal CSS but with items that i changed so it is the proof that RSB4 was being read at this moment. When i made the button combination (x + y for 2 seconds and even more) it should have changed to my modified CSS but with normal items. But it didn't. Conclusion : File patch code is working, yes, but it only reads RSB4 and folder swapping does not work. I don't know why the hell it works for you.

I'm sure we will eventually find out what's wrong. But we need more people to test this code and tell if it's working for them or not.

I never check videos. It may be useful to know your "configuration". Wii > PAL ? NTCS-US ? Loader > Riivolution ? Gecko OS ? USB loader ? Anything that can be useful to understand why it works for some people and not for other people. I have a PAL Wii, i load a NTSC-US game from an external hard drive with CFG USB loader. Hacks are stored into a 2GB SD card.
