Beta 3 is awesome :3 I love the whole sliding maneuver. Feels very natural to Spidey's character. Will you be releasing another Beta after this? Or will it be the final pack?
Also, for anyone who's still working on recolors, do you think it'd be possible to get a cel-shaded/heavily inked Spidey like he appeared in Ultimate Spiderman? That'd be epic xD
I myself wouldn't know, honestly. It just happened to me out of nowhere, and all I did was find out how to fix it. I wish I knew why it happens, though. It was quite annoying when I experienced it
Voted for MvC3 Dante. I like his DMC3 look and all, but it'd be a nice change of pace to get a Dante NOT based on his appearance from there. Never noticed how much MvC3 Dante looks like a mashup from 3 & 4, though.
It sounds like you'll need to use a music reset code for Battlefield...at least that's what I'm getting from what you're saying the problem is. If the game is also freezing WITHOUT hacks, then it might be something else, but you should give the code a try first.
To use it, add the code to your .GCT file, then boot up Smash, go to My Music, and select Battlefield. If it freezes, then that's not the problem. However, if it doesn't freeze, then that means it should be fine. After that, just remove the code from your .GCT, otherwise you won't be able to edit Battlefield's music anymore. Not to nitpick or anything, Sdoom, but do you plan on altering the neutral B web GFX before the final release? To be honest, I preferred the previous version. Now that the web ball is bigger, it causes a split second of slowdown whenever it's used. It's not a major complaint, but it does get a bit annoying since I use it alot :/
And to try to avoid sounding like an idiot, I want to make sure that I'm using the right setup. For the Beta 2, do I need to replace the ef_common with the one in the DL, or is that what's causing the slowdown?
My spidey has a small graphic glitch with his entry. Im pretty sure it isnt suppose to happen because the entry in your video SDo0m is different. For some reason the web my spidey slides down looks like a pigs tail and is all curly, not straight.
Did you leave out the edited ef_common SDoom provided in the DL? If you don't use it, Spidey's web graphics look like little tufts of air (curly).
The only downside to using it is that a few other character graphics will be affected and appear to be made of webs (Sonic's Forward Air, for example)
Really? Saving it as a pair file works? I'll have to try that out, because everytime I saved it as an actual .pac file, it would be the same size as the .pcs and freeze the game. I'll give that a shot. Thanks
Really hoping the beta's released today~<3 As much as I like watching the moveset in action, I'm one of those people who can't offer potential feedback unless I've actually tested it out.
I will say one thing, though. I don't think I've ever been this hyped to test a PSA of yours, SDoom Spidey looks really fun to play as~
