if I edit the vertex and textures through a Hex Editor, how do I undo them, even if it's one? I got one polygon I didn't want to delete, but it's now gone and I don't know what offests to redo to get that polygon back.
Well now I have a little problem. When I replaced the Halberd's stage model with Battlefield, the Battlefield stage has a white coat over it. When you zoom in on the stage, the textures are still there. It's just that white coat that is in the way. Is there a way to fix this?
So how do I make the textures I edited out, stop being glitchy and not on the stage? Or am I using the wrong program and techniques for editing stages?
Well, with .rel files stages can go over any other stage of course. But without using .rel files, it really depends. Lake of Rage (and other swimming stages for Jungle Japes) can only go on Jungle Japes. Stages that use wind from Green Greens only go over Green Greens. However, some Final Destination stages can go over a lot of other stages without .rel usage. But, no list of this information (that I'm aware of) exists.
I didn't not know that. Thanks. So what could stages like Onett Go over? It's like almost neutral cause it has no swimable, climbing, or other things besides cars htting you.
I already have the program, but I want to know if there's a list to tell if a stage can go over another. When I don't get the right one, my Wii freezes. I almost lost my SD card and SD card reader like that.
Hmm... well, try using the wiki link to find the names of .rel files when downloading. If you need to know which stage the stage you have goes over without a .rel file. First of all, you need to know the names of stages. http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=6.0 Okay, so generally the stage on the vault will tell what stage it goes over. If it comes with a premade .rel file, and your confused what stage it goes over, open it up in Brawlbox, the name will be the first thing you see. Often, lesser liked stages / stages that are hard to hack over will come with .rel files and these methods will have to be used.
Well I knew this, but I don't really want to assign a customed stage it normally goes over. More like a stage it doesn't actually belong on, or a stage people haven't said it goes over. Some of my stages that I rel'd are on stages it shouldn't go on, or that people haven't said they do replace. I have Lake of Rage over Rumble Falls, but it actually goes on Jungle Japes (and freezes over others). I just wonder what stages can go over other stages that haven't been pointed out when you put a custom stage over that unassigned stage. A list would help, if one exists.
Using hexing, or a certain program, any stage can go over another stage using .rel files. Here's a guide for .rel files: http://ssbbcustom.wikia.com/wiki/Module_files If you can't hex, a tutorial for a program can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/user/WackaAlpaca#p/u/16/wq0rGN7m_Ms And the program itself is in the description of the tutorial. .rel files are to be placed here: pf -> module The program is actually really good unless your making a .rel file for a custom stage. Also, I think hazard damage and water levels can be found within a .rel file if your an experienced hacker.

Is there some list that marks which stages can replace others? For example I want another stage to be Onett, which stage can this one go over? A list like that.
Can someone help me with vertexing Battlefield for my stage? I've tried many times to delete the polygons with 3DS Max 09, 3DS Max 2010. I've followed WackaAlpaca and KC-MM's vertex editing videos, rewatched them many times. I've redone and redone the steps many times as well. It won't work no matter how much I repeat this. I keep getting glitchy textures. Can someone please edit it for me? I promise I'll share the stage for download once someone can help me edit the stage. I just can't keep doing this anymore, just for a failure result. I'll tell you what polygons I'd like to keep and get rid of, if someone replies, if they want to edit it for me. D:
How do I get rid of the crystal, the background trees and other extras on the stage? I used the Advanced Model Editor to disable their polygons and textures, but it always resets when I upload it into the game. This is on Brawlbox.
Where can I make stages, like what programs? I heard people use Brawlbox and something called 3DS. I can't find anything on Brawlbox, can someone clear that by telling me where to click so I can get started?
Also people import stages from other games (or something like that). How do I import parts of a game to make into a stage? Like from a GameCube game.
with Riivo...u have to use the common5 file instead of the selcharacter file for, and the common5 file doesn't do battle and result portraits...sorry, but that isnt a glitch.
Really? I've seen people on youtube who have combinations of battle portraits with riivolution (with sound effects), result screen portraits with riivolution (with sound effects), and all images with riivolution (with sound effects). I mean, they have to use riivolution for sound effects, but they also have all the images.
Okay it somehow fixed itself, now I see my images.
But one more thing though, it seems that I can't use the unrestricted camera anymore. How do I fix this for use in riivolution? I have it in code manager and saved in the root "codes" folder. Is there another GTC file that needs to be saved in Codes, or does the RSBE01.gtc file need to be named to something else?
