Recently downloaded BrawlEx 1.00 from the homepage of brawl vault and installed it to my sd card. everything works fine but i added a few of my own characters over the regular characters along side the ones already there.

problem is i cant seem to find the correct place to change the portraits of the css since the common5.pac apparently isnt the one used for the regular characters.

so even if i change them the portraits dont change for the normal characters like mario,dk,link,ect. anyone have any clue where i should be looking for to change the portraits.

also any clue how to get rid of the names in the selection boxes (not the portraits the little ones) they sorta arent correct anymore and i wanna either fix or get rid of them. thanks in advance.

seems like i was adding to many new items to the common3.pac file and it wouldnt load i got rid of a few and it works now. thanks for the help

ok ill try maybe the ones ive downloaded were corrupted or something

i use brawl vault and add the pac files from the items i downloaded from here. i followed the instruction in the tutorial. i downloaded an unchanged common3.pac file then i opened it in brawl vault and replaced the item in the itembrres folder.

Im not sure if im doing something wrong but when i add an edited common3.pac to smash bros it freezes on the wiimote health/strap screen. When i remove the common pac it works but no matter what i cant get it to work can anyone help. Thanks to anyone who helps.
