To be honest, the word "advanced" in this situation doesn't have that ring to it: the ring of difficulty, hard work, and a brain. It feels more like "easy way out, do it and be a pro instantly".
On a side note, after your depressing and world-cynical speech, I decided to kick my own butt into high(er) gear, and actually look around. Your sig conviniently contains the latest tutorial, so I went for that.
Turns out the problem was that I didn't have the balls to double patch. I felt that if I ever had to double patch, I was a failure. Naaaw. Double patching is a neccesary part of life, like a stop light or a pedestrian crossing. You can ignore it if you want, but you know something bad might happen...(shrugs)
And I ignored ChaosRune entirely and found out first hand why Ike's sleeves don't match with his arms in all the animations. Ike will occasionally rotate his arm, like a person would when they open a doorknob or something. But the sleeves don't move along with the rotating arm.
Understandable, but for Ike's cuffs? Last time I checked, Cloud Strife's arms were pretty cuff and sleeve-less. And I can't just borrow them, since the rest of that polygon is edited.
Ah well, maybe the Das Donkii team is made up of awesome, that's it.
Copy-pasta for the win. My topic in the Help is not getting much attention.

Nothing to it. No trickery, just a plain mess. Why?
The cuffs don't dissappear like they are supposed to, and the sleeves of Ike don't line up with the arm, only get bigger. I followed both guides to the best of my knowledge, but perhaps I missed something?
And as a side note, I successfully edited Ike's sword with Vish's guide.

Alrght, I'm back!...because noobs always come back to the place they like.
This time, the problem is with collapsing. After morphing it with the value 100, I left click on the model, then try to Collapse All. I get the warning, I click Yes, and 3DS Max 8 crashes.
It worked for the first few times, even when the program kept crashing halfway through, but now I simply cannot pass the Collapse step. Any pointers?
This is my first time vertex editing, and I'm having a blast. I'm going off for university, and once that happens, i'll never finish my Prince of Persia 2008 on Ike. So I got started.
BTW, I'm a first-time user for 3DS MAX 8. The guides here are fantastic, and I caught fast enough.
What I want is: Can I save my work? Kinda sounds dumb, but I don't want to save my work in the wrong format and come back to only to find out it's become incompatible with BrawlBox. Plus, 3DS Max 8 keeps crashing, so I can't do it in one go.
Wait, homebrew works on Dolphin now? Man, I need to get a new laptop.
Aside from emulators, I have my two cents to point out now. I know you're asking for glitches, but not many casual hackers are good at finding them, so i'll focus on gameplay. The only 'glitch' I found, per say, was that his winning-waiting animations are completely frozen. Not that it freezes the game, but rather the animation is frozen.
MASSIVE GAMEPLAY REVIEW TEXT WALL. DO NOT READ IF IRRELEVANT.
All in all, Cloud has no obvious weakness to be exploited. His worst point is getting back on stage, and it's mediocre at worst. His Side-B and Up-B are fine for recovery. His Up-B moves are also bad at hitting people.
You want to really beat Cloud? Get a character with projectiles.
There's no way to approach him without them, and when you do, it can only get worse.
From above? His Uair will juggle you, no matter how long the dodge is. For variation, try Nair instead and laugh when opponents can't get away from it's huge hitbox.
From below? Expect a Dair, Toon Link style and less lag. Or a Down-B. Slower, but great for off-stage spiking.
From the side? Cloud has two projectiles (Neutral-B and Down B) that can be predicted and dodged, but off-stage they become scary edge-guarders. His Foward Smash is fine for dealing with people that are good at spacing.
His F-tilt is mediocre, his D-tilt is better than Ike's, and his U-Tilt is magical. Compare the Utilt to Sheik's Ftilt.
Is Cloud on the ledge? His Side-Aerial move will hit anyone waiting for him, with it's massive reach.
It's so satisfying to land a full Aerial Neutral B on someone.
And there's my gameplay review on Cloud. Balanced? Nope. Legit? Yes. It's Cloud Strife, he's supposed to kick everyone's a**.
Don't hate on me. This thread is updated again, with the Captain himself in the game. I wasn't quite sure what to do with his...nipple caps, so I coloured them the same as the uniform they were on. Hopefully it doesn't blind you.
Samus is comin'. Does anyone actually play as Samus? I'm terrible with her, I can't use her air capabilities very well. I just spam missles and lose.
Yeah, yeah, I skipped Falco Lombardi. Turns out he's a pain in the @** to colour. I can't figure out what to do with that grey silver thing by his leg. It's not his knee, just in case you think so. The picture's not even up, so you can't see it.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! A long time ago, that is.
Updated! Fox McCloud is on the list, albeit with a non-Brawl appearance (this was the best I could find, even though this is his 64 appearance, not Assault)
On another note, I'd like to thank the two people so far who have helped me find pictures. This is a list of pictures I've now got:
Mario Bowser Wario (Biker/Original) Peach Kirby
All of the others I didn't mention are a) not to my satisfaction, b) I already have it, or c) way too bad@$$. (I'm looking at Game and Watch)
I guess since GW is already in 2D, i'll leave him alone. Poor guy.
I already have that Bowser (too bad he's missing the arm bracelets, or whatever the heck he wears on his arms), but that Mario is a godsend. I've been trying to find a good one and I simply couldn't.
EDIT: I take that back, I see the arm bracelets now.
