I have several custom characters replacing other characters (Goku over Pit, Ryu over Jigglypuff, etc.). I changed their character select name and pic, but I am having a hard time changing the in battle name (ie when I play as Goku his in battle name is still pit.). I edit the info_en.pac and place it in info2 folder and it doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated  Smiley

I checked where I got the Wario .rel from, apparently there's issues with it freezing

So unfortunately there isn't anything I can do about that, and no, there's no way to give G&W other costumes. Sad
However, you said you already have a character over Olimar, is it a .rel port? Because if it's a .rel port of a character based off of Marth or Link I have almost all the .rels for them, so you could have the character over Olimar over another character and Cloud over Olimar. I guess my only option is to keep Cloud over Mr G&W with one texture or to learn how to hex edit for the Generic Ike rel.

Is there any tutorials/guides for hex editing the Generic Ike rel?

Yeah, unfortunately .rels don't work like that, you need a specific .rel for each character, you can't just rename it and expect it to work. However, there is a generic Ike .rel that can be modified to work with any character, but to modify it you would have to know how to use hexing. I don't know how to use hexing, so if you want to try that you'll have to ask someone or find out how to use it. I do have some Ike .rels over Dedede, G&W, Mario, and Wario if you want to use them, all you would have to do is to put them in your module folder and rename all the PSA files for the character. However, some of them need codes to keep from crashing, so you'll have to add the codes to your RSBE01.gct.

I don't mind replacing Wario, but I couldn't get your .rel for Wario to work ... the game freezes. I even added the codes for wario in the gct and everything.

To see if I was doing something wrong I tested on Mario and was able to get it to work.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of Mr Game and Watch, but I can't get the alternate costumes for Cloud with him since G&W only has one pac file for his textures. Is there a way to add more textures for G&W?

It's over olimar, but I want it over Rob instead. So I renamed the files including the .rel file to Robot, but it still doesn't work. Is there something else that I have to do?

So I got this PSA import for Cloud over Ike:

I was able to get this mod to work for Ike, but the problem is I don't want to get rid of Ike and would rather replace ROB. I tried changing the file names from Ike to Robot for all pcs and pac files, but when I pick Rob and load a stage the game freezes.

I found other PSA imports for Cloud over Olimar, but I already replaced Olimar.

These codes are meant to go in your .gct , use this to edit it.

Thanks. At first I got the error "code must be divisible by 16". Then I found out you have to remove any spaces from the codes.

How do I insert codes for custom characters?

The game freezes when I try to double jump with Ryu. From the info box "if your having problems with double jump, make sure the codes are inserted or else it'll freeze.  The FitPurin.pac won't read in PSA (Project Smash Attacks) so don't report"

I have other custom characters that I need to input codes for but custom characters don't load in PSA, so how do I add codes. Do I need to use brawl box? If so how do I add the codes. Tutorials and guides don't show how to do this
