1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Hhhwhoooaaaaaaaa Vertex importing problems on: April 05, 2010, 07:52:47 PM
I was having the same problem with Windows Vista and today switched to Windows 7, nothing changed. If i were to guess as to why this is happening, it has something to do with DasDonkey because i just exported my vertex.ddf and my model.mdl0 and immediately after creating a 3ds file with DD i used DD to make a new model.mdl0 with the non-altered files. The problem of course was still there.

I don't know if that helps anyone but that's the lead I'm going with right now. I don't know if it is different for anyone else.

3  Help & Tutorials / Help / Need help with vertex hacking going wrong on: April 03, 2010, 07:08:35 PM
Hi to anyone who looks at this and thanks to anyone who answers!

I am a noob at vertex hacking, just going to put that out there. I watched the KC-MM tutorial (making Bowsers spikes flat) on how to do it and followed it exactly(as far as i can tell) but whenever i replace the FitKoopa model file (.mdl0) there are these lines that just out from where i altered the model.

To test it i exported the model and vertices, used DasDonkey to create a DDV.3DS file, then immediately made a model.mdl0 file with DasDonkey (copy and pasted the mdl0offset) and when i replaced and previewed it the same problem happened.

I've tried to fix the problem for 2 hours, have looked around the internet for 1 and can not find anything to help it. So i thought the KC-MM forum. So any help would be appreciated, i am super stumped.
