Yea I've done that, someone answered my question in another thread XD.  But thanks for responding anyway.

Actually no I didn't. I will definitely get a converter and update the OP to have some screenshots of the very weird looking Krillin I currently have.

Alright, I would like to welcome everyone to the official thread for my new project: Project Krillin.  Yes, I am here to recruit people to assist me in getting Krillin from Dragonball into Brawl (over Captain Falcon). Before we get started, I would just like to say thank you to PiN0yB0i and Tcll for teaching me how to work with *.BIN files. I would also like to give a big thanks to snoopy for hexing the model, getting it ready for animations and PSA work. Now, on to the good stuff.

Here is a list of what I currently need to do for Krillin:

Texture Assistance: I am having trouble with some textures for Krillin, and that problem is that in-game, all of his textures are very shiny, metallic looking, while they look fine in BrawlBox and did not look like this until I got snoopy to fix the model for me.

Moveset Assistance: I also need help with setting up a moveset and coming up with a couple more ideas for the moveset. My current move set is as follows:
Standard no-tilt A attack - Very swift punches (like C. Falcon already has)
Left-Right tilt smash attack - Charged up powerful kick
Up tilt smash attack - Not sure yet
Down tilt smash attack - I picture some kind of on the ground round house-like attack (I swear a character already has a move like that but I can't think of who it is at the moment to save my life)
No tilt B attack - some energy blasts (I think they are called Psi Blasts in the show but who cares honestly) that can be fired very, very fast like Fox's laser gun. They will obviously not do much damage.
Left-Right B attack - I was thinking potentially his Saw-disk-like attack, again I cannot exactly what it's called.
Up B attack - Just a decently high jump (maybe make it look like he's taking off to fly) that will put you into the cannot move state like the majority of Up B's do.
Down B attack - Not sure there either.
Now, on the note of attacks, the download that will be at the bottom currently has his pole arm still in the model, but I intend to take that out (unless someone wants to do it for me XD) and let him use his fists.
If you can think of any way to make that moveset better or think of ideas for the ones I have not come up with an attack for yet, please do not be afraid to post, all ideas are welcome.

Next on the list are Animators. I currently have absolutely no animations done for him. He looks really f*ckin' weird runnin' around the stage right now with no wait or run animations, so I desperately need help there.

I guess that about covers everything right now, if you see something that I missed just let me know and I'll fix it, and if you're interested just post something or send me a private message. I would put up some screenshots up of what I currently have done, but my Brawl keeps saving my screenshots on my SD card in some unreadable format so I'll just post the download for him right below here.
*Note: He is definitely not ready for any playing at all right now, he freezes when you use, what is still at the moment, Falcon Punch, so don't download to just play, but of course you need to download it if you're going to help me.

Here are some screenshots of what he currently looks like in Brawl with no animations, not even with wait or run animations (in other words I NEED ANIMATORS lol).
This is him in his standard position on the ground, or should I say IN the ground.

This is him jumping in the air, from the front (you can see where the textures are messed up).

This is him from in the air from the front (again, note how the textures are screwing up). Ignore that yellow thing that appears to be on his head, that's just Wario in the background lol. And another note on these jump pictures, this is him falling down on his side, just in case it's not very clear in the pictures.

I forgot to post back here, but here I go.  I would like to say thank you Tcll, because what you told me is exactly what I needed to find a lot of stuff.  The only problem is just ISo specific (Tales of Symphonai: Dawn of the New World).  The *MDL0 files are a pain because even after I run the automatic model hexer they still don't work.  I know they require extensive hexing to get working, but I'm not exactly good at hexing yet so I'll tackle this project later when I understand it a bit more.  Thanks again!

Thank you very much, kind sir.  There is no rush, so take your time. And as said before, I will be sure to give you full credit for all of this.  Kirby Dance

Okay here's the mediafire link to the MDL0.   http://www.mediafire.com/?3aao9btv63n8s21    Feel free to rename it to whatever you want.  I'm planning on putting him over C. Falcon (if I didn't already say that) and my future plan is to make a whole moveset and animation for him so I guess do a whole character replace. Like I said in my first post, I'm also having trouble with some textures when I get thrown, I don't know if that's a bone problem or not, but if it is it would also be great for you to fix that as well (and any other bone problems you see with him lol). I will give full credit for this to you, and thanks again!

Alright I'll send it to you. I'm at a restaurant at the  moment so I'll do it as soon as I get home and I appreciate the help.

Okay, so I'm attempting to put Krillin into Brawl using the MDL0 from Dragonball: Revenge of King Piccolo.  I am putting him over Captain Falcon.  I have gotten him and his textures into Brawl already, and I have encountered a few problems, which I expected, and now I'm looking for some help to figure them out, and I will be sure to give credit for any assistance I receive.  Now my problems are as follows:  I can only run for a few feet before my character gets "stuck" and can no longer move until I jump.  I believe this is caused by the TransN bone, but my model does not have this bone so I am unsure of what to do about this.  Also, another problem I have is that when I'm grabbed and thrown, a bunch of random, obscure shapes pop up on the screen and I am again unsure of what to do.  I have been using this guide http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9248.0 but it does not tell me what to do if my character does not have the bones I need.  Thanks in advance!

Alright thank you for telling me this. I am just getting started so this is clearly not the good starting project for me.

No it did not give  errors.

Okay, I am trying to get models from the new Tales of Symphonia ISO. I can get the *.BIN files out, make them *.BRRES, and view them in brawlbox. Now I run Fortwaffle's automatic hexing program. Now the problem is that at this point I SHOULD be able to properly view the MDL0s in brawlbox but I cannot because I still get an error. Can anyone help me at all? All assistance shall  have credit given in the final product. Thanks in advance.

Alright, I'm trying to get some models from the ISO Dragonball King Piccolo's revenge. I have gotten the MDL0s out of it but they have absolutely no textures. Could someone tell me how / where to get the textures? And if I have to make the textures myself, could someone tell me how? All assistance will have credit given on the final product.

No dice there. I've tried a ton of different *.BIN files and tried doing both of those things and got no results. I know people are getting them from this ISO because people have made plenty of Lloyds and Kratos (both characters from the game).  Undecided

Okay, well, I am also wanting to get models from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I got the ISO and can get all the files from it, but I cannot get any useful character MDL0s. There are a lot of *.BIN files, and I have tried doing the same thing as before, but it is not working. I have found a *.BIN file for what I believe would be the file that would contain the MDL0 I need, the character's name being Collete. Now when I open it up in HxD, where the "bres" line would be for the other game, I see ".collet.brres.". If you think of anything to try with this I would, as usual, be very thankful. Smiley
