Great revamp on oizen's stage mewtwo. Perhaps there would be more higher quality imports if it wasn't so daunting to get into... i wouldn't want to spend a bunch of time modelling + learning how to import a stage only to find out that I am plagued by lighting + texture issues. (and i only have so much free time to spend). Also, i don't think i should worry about a "team" so much - you already have a stellar reputation for quality, well done work, no team affiliation could possibly detract from that, you stand on your own.
oh man, its like you are reading my mind i was actually planning to make this variation myself once you were done with it now an insta-download (i might still remove the rope)
The joker is absolutely fantastic, but scarecrow seems really badly rigged (when you crouch, one of the cloths doesn't seem to be rigged properly so it stays standing up)
Also, I have a question regarding things like models from PS games and stuff. Is there a way to outright prevent Brawl from applying filtering to a texture? Resizing the texture 4x can only get you so far.
I know theres a terraria themed stage in the vault with unfiltered textures, perhaps you could ask the author of that stage how he did it
Not only did you recreate one of the best melee stages, but you pretty much made an exact replica. It is hands down the best looking stage you have made, from the extreme detail in the models, to the amazing fluidity of your animations. But one of the main reasons I would choose FoD is the fact that it can be used as a viable competitive stage. Don't get me wrong, all of your stages look pretty damn good; however, many of them I just can't stand playing on because they are walkoff stages or oddly shaped or sized. I think some of my favorite stages from you are you recreations of past stages.
I just came up with an idea. I'll add a True/False switch to the MDL0 properties window that says "Automatic Metal Materials."
If it's true, you'll have no control over the metal materials and Brawlbox will generate/modify them automatically. If it's false, you can do whatevs and Brawlbox won't interfere. (It'll be false by default)
Do you really need it THAT badly? It literally takes about a minute to add metal materials...
I actually had no idea how long it takes, since i haven't checked up on it. (shame on me) If it is a tedious, and easily automatable task, however, then why do it manually over and over for every import? I mean, of course put priority on what needs priority, and if you feel it isn't worth the coding effort then leave it out. I will be fine without it, as will most of us. but i was just bothered by the way you seemed to say "lets leave this out because screw noobs, they need to learn REAL modding" I apologize for being dramatic in my post
