Hey everyone, this is Spectrepaw. I am new here and I was asking if someone could make a Quilava character texture hack of a new model.everyone turned me down so I decided to take things into my own hands. I learned how to make a texture hack and well. This is my first I ever made and I am really proud of it. It is of my online character Spectre the Quilava from pokemon. The yellow ears are his trade mark.

Well I know it isn't prefect, the back of the neck drove me nuts for ages untell I found out that it shares the same texture as the chest which is horrible DX. Mikeyoshi's model was what I used to make the flames on the head. I used his Bowserchu model, it worked like a charm. Give him all the credit for the model and just me for the texture. None of this wouldn't be possible without MikeYoshi. When I first made this texture it felt like a dream come true. I always wanted to play as my favorite Online character on brawl.

The front of pikachu's head and the back of his head share a texture so if the tan bit is there on the front it will be there on the back. The designers were very lazy when they made pikachu's texture.
Aww rats, dang it Pikachu's designers.

ok thanks for your help

Ok this is my first time trying to do a texture hack and I decided to try it with Pikachu and turning him into a Quilava. I apologize cause right now I am using MikeYoshi's pikachu model to try to make it. I love playing as Pikachu, but my favorite pokemon is Quilava and I am desperately trying to get this to work and I am stuck about 90% of the way through and I have no clue on what I should do.

I know, complete noob trying to make a texture that is hecka lame, I know don't tell me, just help me

See on the face, it is perfectly square at the bottom where the green touches tan. I don't want that I want the either connected to the tan on the belly or just make that dang box disappear., but I figure out a way to just connect to the belly, there is a huge tan box on the back of his neck which is completely noticeable. If anyone can help I know I would appreciate it. I know that using the model MikeYoshi made with Bowsers hair is wrong, but I asked so many times for a Quilava model over Pikachu and everyone just said: Oh there is a Typhlosion for the pokemon trainer. I don't want Typhlosion I want Quilava. I know I really am not deserving of help, but please at least help me make my Quilava in brawl wish come true :<

You must have forgot to add the .pac files along with the .pcs files.  .pac files are needed for any character that switches to another character.  Try adding the .pac files for the various johto vertex hacks and I'm sure that they will work properly.

As for the codes, I really can't help you their.  I know that Brawl+ has an individual PKMN code and Brawl- has it so that you don't switch mons when you die, but I don't know about using the code outside of those bigger hacks.  Sorry.

Ok thank very much, you are a very big help X3

I have 2 questions about hacks about the pokemon trainer. See I use him in battle alot and I am using the 3 Johto pokemon hacks (Typhlosion, Bayleaf, and Totodile). Every single one works fine, but when I switch pokemon or I die,  the 3 pokemon revert to their normal skins. Anyway to fix this

Also I try to use the Independant pokemon code cause I like playing as Ivysaur and Charizard, but I perfer to just play as one of them. but everytime I activate the code and launch the game, I freezes before the game starts up, how can I fix this?
