wow, this is pretty cool. i think someone from the gscentral forums made a similar code, back when the file patch code was only a year or so old. i like it!
^ I noticed. to fix the two keys, use the Alt. Motion pack in the description, and implement the CHR0 in modeldata[0] in fitmarth.pac via import opion. what I also noticed, is that the import is poorly rigged and weighted. the hand problem, for one. all sword bones except SwordN are in-animate and unrigged (which is what I scaled to remove the keyblade intergrated with the costume), and worst of all, his legs are detached from the body! all in all, the only thing I ever saw wrong with micaiah's model was the keyblade, and I imported one, so that's taken care of.
Okay, I'll give that a shot. And yes, I noticed that the import is a bit poorly rigged. Honestly, sticking with the vertex might be a better option for now, until either someone re-rigs him or something. The hand issue with strike raid is just... agh DX oh well, at least it doesn't make him unplayable.
I'm working on my first model import these past few days, but I haven't had alot of time. I'll give you a hint; it's a male kingdom hearts character, and his voice actor is the same one who voiced Reno in Advent Children.
Have you seen the newly imported KHII Sora model for Marth? Unfortunately, I tried using it with the psa here but it gives him two kingdom keys in the same hand, making it look rather unsightly. Also, his hand polygon stretches the keyblade when using strike raid. :/
On a side note, I'm loving the move set regardless! ^_^
Ah, okay. So basically, I'd need to export all the sounds from the CF VJ pack and insert them over Yoshi's SFX, and then open up the VJ Yoshi PSA and redirect the sounds to load from Yoshi's sound bank instead of CF's?
I liked the Viewtiful Joe moveset alot, but I wanted to keep CF, so I was delighted to find a port over Yoshi. Only problem is that no one has made any SFX for him. I looked in the files for the CF Viewtiful Joe and found a hex packet of sfx.
Now, my question is, how/is it possible to put them over Yoshi's soundbank?
I should note that the Yoshi port included this code: Yoshi has Marth's IC C2858928 00000003 2C040004 40820008 38800011 1C040038 60000000 00000000
Would that screw anything up trying to use CF sfx for Yoshi?
All i know is that you can try removing the polygons or vertexing them to be very tiny and unnoticable. I tried making a few things transparent for my Sora Pit hack (before the vertexed one was released) and they just showed up black in game. :/
Hey everyone. Recently, I decided to switch to Riivolution instead of using Gecko for my main way of playing a hacked Brawl. To my delight, everything went very smoothly.
So, I decided to try the Stage Expansion 2.0 system. I downloaded this: http://www.mediafire.com/?266ron7jgk4no6b which is basically a tutorial on how to use it. It allows 37 extra stages, each with a custom icon, name, etc. I installed the selmap.pac thing in my common 5, and it loads fine. My problem is actually getting one of the stages to load. I tried loading Fountain of Dreams (a final destination based stage) just to test it out, and named it STGCUSTOM01.pac and put it in pf/stage/melee, and yes I used the special final destination module and put it in pf/module/st_custom01.rel) but it doesn't load. The game just silent freezes after I select it on the stage select screen. I checked my Riivolution xml and it seems like all of the file paths are correct. Everything else, textures, movesets, regular stages, menus, etc work flawlessly.
Any ideas? I think I've tried most everything, but it's probably an easy fix, considering everything LOOKS fine.
I should note that I am using Beyond You's Riivolution package that I downloaded... somewhere... and an xml compatible for his method that must be used to be able to use the Spider-Man moveset.
These are probably the best Toon Young Link's I have seen. If you can learn to Vertex Hack, I'd like to see where this could go. You should check out the Link vertex hack here on the Vault of melee young link.
