Hello it's me again! I have an other question. I do vertex hacks but I will be soon forced to make particular vertex hacks. I mean I will have to make a vertex hack that requires merging vertex. For example, a Zelda with Marth's cape. What I want to know is, if it is possible to do this, first, and if it is possible, how can I do this? I hope someone can help me...

He could replace the cape model over an article, then use psa to add it to every animation couldn't he?

Excuse me for not have thought enough before posting, but an idea came to my mind. If I can't put Marth's cape over Zelda like you say BeyondYou, can I at least put mario's cape, recolor it and spread it so that it looks like Marth's cape?

Of course I suppose it will require Psa to make it visible all the time and I hope it won't be a prejudice...

But that'd take up every costume slot. : [

That isn't possible either, you can't just take parts of other characters and add them to others.

The only option you have is what Weyard suggested, but again, it'll effect all the characters costumes.

Hum... It will affect all costumes slots... This is not a real problem for me so I think I will make this! Thank you very much!

But BeyondYou, why isn't it possible for me to put mario's cape on an other character? This cape is an article, so if I managed to put Ike's sword on Peach which is an article, what I've already done, Mario's cape which is also an article should work, if you have time can you explain to me why it isn't possible?

Actually, that is possible. You'd just have to replace one of Zelda's articles, hex it so that it attaches to her neck bone, and call it up through PSA.

Ok good to see that I can do it! I know how I will be able to edit the colors of the cape and also how to replace an article of Zelda, but about what you said, about hex, what have I to do concretely? I know I have to use HxD and I already have it. I will search on the forum how to do this, but if I don't find, I won't edit this message and I think I will need some explanations! Sorry to take your time! Laugh

Edit: Ok, I found that the neck of peach is in fact the bone number 50. But about hexing, I still don't know what to do...

Actually you can delete every polygon besides the cape polygons and attach through PSA....-.o

Have you looked at Snoopy's guide? It takes you through how to attach items to a HaveN bone. This isn't what you really want to do though: You would need to change whatever bone the article you replace attaches to to bone 50, her neck. Then you'd just position it and what not. Unfortunately, I myself do not have enough experience in this area, so you'd probably want to ask Snoopy himself if you have any problems.

Thankfully, the cape is an article, so that won't be necesary.
