The one with the skull in essential for users. I have read tutorials that mention it, and tutorials that don't. Will character hacks from the brawl vault not work without it? If it is mandatory how does it work? Also is brawl box mandatory as well?

Code Manager would be needed if you want to manage your codes. And some hacks require codes so...

And BrawlBox is needed if you plan on making your own hacks.

Ok I've been looking around and I'm confused. Does code manager have to have file patcher to work? What is file patcher anyway?

Also what would a file destination look like for a character for both brawl and subspace? Couldn't I just save it as a .pair instead?

Nvm found something a thousand times easier its called cheat manager.

I still would like to know what a file destination would look like for a character for both brawl and subspace. Is it saved as .pair instead of .pac or .pcs?

Ok I read it and I and I understand the code thing but I don't get how to save a character for both brawl and subspace.

    (X):\private\wii\app\RSB(X)\pf\Fighter\(Character Name)\
After character name would be .pcs and then after that do I do the same thing and put .pac instead? Or can I avoid having to put both and just save it as

    (X):\private\wii\app\RSB(X)\pf\Fighter\(Character Name)\.pair

    Will that work?

Always save as a .pair. What that does is that it saves your file as a .pac and a .pcs at the same time. (Not as a (fitchar).pair)

There have been problems of people not checking the compression switch when saving as a .pcs, so .pair does it for you.

Also, as a note. .Pacs are for multiplayer, .Pcs are for subspace, but it will always, ALWAYS be better to have both. ALWAYS. Your hacks are more stable.
