I have just finished a vertex/texture hack and I want to post it but there's a problem when I select the character and chose the level, it freezes..  it's able to preview the model well on brawlbox. what do I do?

I know that base vertex model so all I can say is make sure the texture formats are all correct because that can usually be this problem. <-LookItsLink said the texture thing.

Format? Please do explain if possible  I don't know the exact formats but I had this problem with Ike before too....Since I didn't know which were supposed to be which I used a clean file, exported the textures, copied the edited ones onto the exported ones and replaced them in BB. It worked then.

FitIkeEyeHigh - CI4 / RGB5A3 palette FitIkeEyeIris - CI8 / RGB5A3 palette FitIkeEyeWhite - CMPR FitIkeEyeYellow - CMPR Fit_Ike01 - CMPR Fit_Ike02 - CMPR Fit_Ike03 - CMPR Fit_Ike04 - CMPR Fit_Ike05 - CMPR Fit_Ike06 - RGB5A3 Fit_Ike07 - CMPR Fit_IkeBlade - RGB565 Fit_Ike_Hair - CI8 / RGB5A3 palette usirokami - RGB5A3
Those are all the right formats for his textures. When you go to replace a texture with an edited one, a window will pop up with a preview of the NEW texture, on the side in the window there is a box that says "Format" just change it to the right one. PS: I can't wait tell it's released it looks kewl!
