no csp transparency game freezes?

Im making csp's with no transparency i Index the pngs and upload them with the c18 option but when i play the game it freezes just before the character select menu. do you know what could be wrong i just have no idea. well maybe the filesize is too big?

The file size is probably way too big because of all the colors.

Portraits are in CI8 format and use RGB5A3 palettes.

If anything, your PAC file may be too big, thanks to your new portrait.  One way to reduce a portrait's memory is to reduce its colors, whether its with an image editing program, or by adjusting the palette's maximum colors.

wow thanks for all the help! x_X guess i have to go back to doing csps the right way taking pics in brawl green screen stage and editing it in photoshop.

I was kind of trying to do a quick temporary csp so that i can fill up my roster faster and get the feel of the line up with csps. I often use up every slot and end up feeling this isnt right after i freaking did al the csps for it.
