I want to replace one of the character names that display at the results screen, but I have no idea where these things are located. I already have the replacement file I want to use, but I just don't know where to put it.

Would anyone mind pointing me in the right direction?

EDIT: Also, I swapped out a character's replay icon, but the default one is still showing up. What gives?

In the folder called ''Stage'' there should be a file named ''STGRESULT.pac'' or something like that. I believe you can find the portraits in there. I don't know how to replace the replay icons either.

you have been through a lot of hassle. I've watched every topic you posted on this, and most of them seemed to disintegrate gradually.
But the coolest part was that you didn't stop working on it despite that.

I'm not talking about the portraits (I already have that taken care of), I'm talking about the name card that appears when at the victory screen. I have Mewtwo set up in place of Lucario and it seems really jarring when you see Mewtwo, hear the announcer say Mewtwo, yet still see a big "Lucario" staring you in the face.

ah... you mean the text that appears...
well I just checked STGRESULT.PAC and they're not in there...
but there is the stock icons which confuses me
    I'll find them though...

The stock icons in STGRESULT.pac are used to represent KOs and Falls that each player has made on another character.
